of booking manager. I was looking for a nice place in Yalta to spend time with my husband in the end of September. The hotel's web-site is breathtaking and stated that the high season is over on 26 September (now they currepted the whole part with prices) and deluxe room is 180 Euro opposed to 330 Euro during high season.
I dial the booking number and discussed with the manager whether there are deluxe rooms at the price of 180 Euro available and after a confirmation on her side asked to get a booking form. I cannot express my surprise when I received a booking form with a price twice as much to what I expected. My attempt to find out what the reason for such dramatic increase was failed, the manager told me that she CLEARLY stated that the room is 330 Euro. Leaving aside the fact that it is not professional to fool out the client (i am not an idiot and remember what I talk about with people) I was disappointed by the arrogance of the hotel staff which claims to be one of the best in the area. The answer to my question whether it was a mistake at their web-site was - the season is extended till 3 October and due to inefficiency of the company servicing the web-site the information has not been updated.
This tricky pricing policy and ability to handle clients quiries and total arrogance made me seak for another accomodation as the first contact with the hotel left me with an impression - if the booking is so bad what the service on-site is and whether my get away is forth risking. The attempt to book a different place in the same segment was more successful.
Training of personel is a must for all places who are servicing clients, this place is not the case I assume. Keep away from unprofessionals.
