The Cathedral was not so easy to find, but it was definitely worth visiting. It is a rather small church near the main square and its interior is decorated with exquisite secession paintings and stained glass windows (one of the artists who created the decoration is Józef Mehoffer, a famous polish artist). It is something quite unusual and it's probably one of the most gorgeous places in Lviv, a must-see.

If you see one thing in Lviv, see this gem. An exceptional example of Art Nouveau in Lviv to rival Prague or Vienna.

Close to the center, this Armenian church features restored and about to be restored interior frescoes in unusual hues of blue and red.

Smallish and darkish, though provides evidence of formerly very active Armenian presence in Ukraine

Restoration work is actively underway, a joint project of the Polish and Ukraiian governments. The Polish partnership, don't quite understand

It is an unusual church due to unique paintings by Jan Henryk de Rosen. Frescoes have sophisticated ornament consisting of non-canonic elements.
The architecture itself is special as well since Armenian cathedrals differ from Orthodox and Catholic ones. It has majestic atmosphere, especially when the sunrays shine through the stained glass.
In the courtyard of the church you can find wooden composition "The Golgotha" dating back to the 18th century (currenty being renovated in the studio).
