1. It stinks there with burned food, stinks so much it irritates your eyes
2. We ordered Napoleon cake, it was dry and not tasty at all
3. They refused to accept a credit card, good that I had some cash with me

It is one of the oldest restaurants in Leopolis. Every evening cellar covered with multicolored illumination of bottles from which they drank to the health of King Jan Sobieski or Crown Hetman Zółkiewski. At the entrance is relief of the first owner – outstanding fighter for the freedom of religious beliefs- Bald Maċko (early 17 ct). He despite the ban of the Inquisition, from prescription Venetian consul made pizza with tomatoes (now it costs 2 dollars)

Pizza menu was great. But all around nothing special. At least we didn't need to wait for food and was nice and friendly service.

This restaurant would be outstanding if they translated their menu like pretty much all L'viv restaurants have already done. To compound the frustration none of the wait staff understand any English, French or Spanish.

Still the food and wine are good. We we lucky to have a Ukrainian guide who could help out.

We sampled the house speciality. A huge family platter of grilled savoury chicken, beef, and veal along with small roasted potatoes, cauliflower and other veggie - delicious.

An extensive wine list and well priced.

Service is efficient and to the extent possible, friendly.

The lower level rooms are interesting. The show the remnants of what was likely a storage floor for a centuries old hotel and restaurant.
