It's the first cemetery where I didn't have this feeling like "here a lot of dead people under my feet". I would better call this not a graveyards but an sculpture yards. It's very interesting to hear stories from a guide about famous people who buried there. Architecture compositions are perfect

There are a lot of interesting graves!
It would be better if you are from Poland and know well about 19-20 century's history.

We took a trip out here to check out this expansive cemetery. It was a great experience and full of history and sentiment. Celebrities, Military Leaders, Poets, and regular folks lie side by side and have very elaborate monuments. My knowledge of important Ukrainian figures is limited, so some of it was lost on us...but it was very interesting and well worth a visit.

Lots of interesting history and varied tombstones, statues and ornamentation. Many with fresh flowers laid, despite being many years old.Wandering through the Polish soldiers' graves moving and so many surnames I recognized that immigrated to Manitoba. Spent a couple of hours as part of a tour, but could have stayed even longer.

It's the old cemetery, where you see graves from probably rich people of the Austrian Hungarian time, but also from the polish time. Most of the tourists are polish people to visit the graves of their grandparents and grand- grandparents. But it's a visit weird, even when you're not polish. You will be amassed about the "grandeur"!
