Puzata Hata is a place you definitely should go while you're in Lviv and you wanna try some Ukrainian food but you're not Bill Gates. The prices are really nice and the quality of food is good, but you have to know it's not a place for sitting, relaxing, spending your time with friends. It's more like school cafeteria - you eat you meal and go. This place is really crowded, especially during lunch time, but thanks to that food is always fresh I think. Highly recommend this place.

Whenever I travel to other countries, especially countries whose cuisine I am not familiar with, I love to go to the local cafeteria style restaurants. Even though it is not the best food, at least you can get a familiarity of the local food and it's usually very cheap. This place is no exception! Huge selection of items to choose from, my friend and I tried to sample everything between the two of us but there was so much to choose from we probably only sampled about half the items. Even though both our trays were overflowing with food, together we only paid about $11 for the entire meal. Again, not the greatest food, but it is a good experience nevertheless.

Very good choice if you want to get a descent meal for a good price. Although a bit more costly than what you pay in other places, I recommend this place for a smooth dining experience. Not everybody speaks English tho.

i;ve had some trouble finding good food in a lot of countries but when my uncle suggested that we go to puzata hata, i said to give it a try. it is basically a self service place always packed with young people due to the univercity close by and the many workers that have their lunch break at the rush hour of the day. there is a big variet of food and there is definitely something for everyone.
soups, meat, fish, crepes with meat and vegetables and even a coffee stand with desserts, coffe and tea. vary spacious with two flours, but be careful to go there before 2 o'clock otherwise it's two buzy, and you'll have to wait or go downstairs that is quite darker and without any outside view.
very good prices for every budget.

Puzata Hata is popular all around Ukraine, and the locations all keep to the same wooden 'Ukrainan Izba' theme. Of the 2 in L'viv this one is smaller but feels more comfortable, though maybe that's just because it's new. It's located right across from McDonalds just a little further down Prospekt Shevchenko, so when you want something a bit more natural grab a coffee at McCafe quick and keep on walking for more less natural Ukrainian Cooking.

For a quick solo lunch, or business lunch, or to watch the game with friends Puzata hata is the place to go.
