No doubt, this is a really nice hotel, and breakfast is served on an open terrace with a view of the sea, the way breakfast is meant to be had on the coast. I had a nice room with nice decor and spacious balcony. I stayed here while attending a conference, and since everything was sponsored, I can't comment on the cost, but everything was in order, nice, and clean. The location could be better, there is a nice beach across the street, but old town is not within walking distance.

Only stayed here for 1 night. The staff are wonderful very friendly and helpful. Rooms are huge, heaps if space and storage. Bathroom a good size. Fecore of hotel is very traditional, looms well maintained and very clean. Restaurant area has wonderful views, great to relax and have a few drinks. Breakfast was excellent, great selection of different things. All fresh and presented nicely.

We spent a whole week at hotel Niko, really had a great time. Its situated next to the marina, has few bars around, the location is beautiful
Its a family run hotel, all the staff are so welcoming and so helpful.
They recommended some hidden beauties within zadar, we went to all the suggested places and are so grateful to the staff for letting us know about them
everyday we were greeted with wonderful smiles from the cleaner to the chef, the staff really knows about the food they provide, and everyone has a great deal of knowledge
Nina, is an amazing person full of life, i loved having our chats, absolutly admire her, love her love and passion towards everyone
We will definitly be going back there again

The Hotel Niko was a wonderful surprise during our recent trip to Zadar... it is a seaside hotel with a view of the sea and a beach accross the street... but the decor and styling is old world. Gorgeous funiture, rugs, doors and marble accents throughout make it feel like an elegant hotel vs. a seaside hotel (we loved it).

The restaurant onsite is wonderful; rated as one of the top seafood restaurants in Zadar for good reason. We at dinner there once, lunch once and breakfast everyday... the Croissants were better than any we had in Paris :).

The hotel and restaurant staff (mostly interchangable) were wonderful, so friendly and helpful!

Would absolutely return to the Hotel Niko...

Room tip: Get a room with a balcony / sea view.

She’s an old girl but she scrubs up very well. Built in 1963 it looks as good as the day it opened I would think. All the modern touches are there as needed but it looks like something from days gone by, quite elegant really.
Great views from the restaurant which served a delicious breakfast.
Views from the rooms vary so it’s luck of the draw.
Staff are excellent, ver friendly, helpful and speak fluent English
Only complaint would be the hot water taking quite a while to come through.
