Beautifully located by the sea. Clean and neat for being a hostel but really not priceworthy since private options just one block away is cheaper than this hostel and offers more. This is a good spot to stay if you're a large group looking for a cheap place where you can stay together and party. The breakfast was really nothing I enjoyed eating, some stale bread and weird canned-meats and some marmelade that tastes nothing but sugar. The service was ok but the personell really seemed tired & a bit fed up with everything.

Hardly stale bread; possibly the last nights loves were served before fresh bread arrived.

Stayed at this hostel as part of a Contiki tour and wasn't really phased as it was only for one night. But we had a great time!
The hostel is located right on a marina, so directly across the road are moored boats and the water. The view was great.
There is a bar on site which provided cheap drinks and an entertaining night for all of us on tour.
The beach was walking distance, so was a small grocery store and service station.
The staff were friendly and the wifi was fully operational. The meals were ok, we'd come to have no expectations of hostel food on tour and the food here was actually pretty good.
The hostel has recently been renovated with new rooms added. There was another tour group in these rooms, we were towards the back of the property in long cabins with multiple rooms, which were actualy quite comfortable. Only 2 showers per cabin for a lot of girls but it didnt prove to be a problem. For budget travellers or backpackers I would definitely reccommend this hostel!

...Ok beds, big terrace, bar with the beverage, but only one bathroom for ladies on the floor, and the terrible food... I am not pickie - but the dinner was just - poor.. And the price was not so "poor" for that "80es army cans food" .. I remeber it as a hard place to sleep, beacuse of the heat an mosquitos..and lousy food... Actually, for that amount of money - my friend and i coud get a decent place (room/apartmet).. I wouldn't deffinetly stay there again... It's far from the city centre, and there's no any connection as a bus or something, in the night - so you have to walk for an hour, or take a cab, which is like 10 eur... And the beach they mention - is bellow the main road.. So, if you like gas floating over your head.... Go with the flow...

Room Tip: Out of any sight...

Many guests praise our food although, by all means, we can not say we offer a gourmet's food. The public transportation is beyond our influence.

Arrives late after booking with hostel bookings, don't assume the price on the hostel booking is all you have to pay as our final bill was loaded with every concievable extra and ended up a stack more thar than we had planned. A group was leving at 5.00am and created havoc as they were leaving waking everybody up by shouting and banging on doors, seems there is no security and no supervision throughout he night. Do not expect a filling breakfast, it was very poor and basic, just bread and jam and hot chocolate, def no ceral. That said it was adaquate for our one night needs, beach is 5 mins away and regular bus takes you into town. Staff were very helpful and place was lovely and clean. Would I stay again, Yup I would stay again in the hope there would not be a repitition of early morning leavers , Oh and I would bring my own brekky with me.

I was after a hostel in Zadar and as there are only two and the other more central one wasnt available I had no choice but to try this one. I had read the reviews online and they were very average so was bit wary... in the end after catching the no 5 bus out there - took about 10 minutes by bus arrived and was not impressed. The buildings are very old and look run down. The guy at reception wasnt the friendliest of people and wasnt very knowledgeable about things to do in the area or pretty much anything really...
I was put into a 2 bed room but was by myself so that was good. The room however had a very musty old smell and would have been very poky even with only two people... the bathrooms were right next door and very ok clean wise... walls were very thin however as could hear people coming and going all the time. However the thing that I disliked the most was that the door locked just. The lock felt like it could have come free with a bit of effort, and I know i could have asked for another room but in the end didnt want to go back to the guy at reception so ending up putting my chair and backpack up against the door as a barricade! silly huh! anyway overall i was originally going to stay in Zadar 2 nights but ended up heading to Split a day earlier as wasnt impressed with the city or hostel... oh and breakfast was bread (not toast) and some weird hot chocolate drink...
