“Picturesque square by the Captain's Tower and 5 Wells Square”

Within 500 metres of the tower are several things to look at. Roman ruins under glass, 5 Wells Square, the Captain's Tower and St Simeon's Church. Not to mention Mario's for pizzas and drinks and the park by 5 Wells with a pub/club in it. Spent a very nice afternoon here. Popular with the locals for wedding photo's!

Bablja Kula the highest building of the city. Good step but a lot of them for a small charge. At the top, a magnificent view of the city.

It cost 20 Kuna to ascend the tower. The lower steps are steep and the upper ones are spiral:all are modern and so safe.Good views of the town from the top.

Its fine to see it on the outside but I dont think its worth paying for the entance fee (unless you want to have a view from s little height)

This tower is actually more interesting than the 5 wells that brought us to this side of town. The tower is attached to remains of the old town wall. The tower has an odd 5-sided shape which makes it interesting
