It is a very well preservaded spot from the Roman times and they still have events inside of it.
É uma construção da era Romana ainda bem preservada e eles ainda realizam eventos dentro.

“Better then Colosseum”
Reviewed August 18, 2014

After visiting Colosseum in Rome, Italy I was really impressed by condition of the Arena in Pula. Not so much visitors makes it pretty comfortable to explore this fantastic ancient monument in your own pace.
Don't forget to visit an underground ancient museum with a lot of interesting items from the area.
What I regret is that I missed to see some of all concerts during the season. It must be a fantastic experience.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed August 18, 2014 via mobile

Would recommend visiting in July as this is the Pula film festival. Every night they show 2 films in the amphitheatre, often one international hit and a local indie film too.
It was a fantastic experience and a great way to see the structure. The Romans would be impressed that the building is still in use entertaining crowds today.

“Summer 2014”
Reviewed August 16, 2014

We came across this completely by accident and enjoyed a few hours here. The amphitheatre is almost intact and gives a great idea of how it would have looked nearly 2000 years ago. It is a popular venue for concerts (Joss Stone and Status Quo apparently this year). There is a fascinating museum under the arena.

“An impressive structure”
Reviewed August 13, 2014

The Arena is a pleasant and peaceful place to visit. Wander around the 'ruins' and appreciate the magnificence of such an old structure that is very well preserved. When we visited in May, we saw one section that was vivid 'white' in colour, creating a dramatic contrast with the rest of the grey areas. The guide told us that this particular section had been cleaned up / 'restored'. On seeing that area in comparison with the 'original', we decided that part of the beauty and charm of the place was that it clearly showed the passage of time and didn't really need to be 'restored'. The 'underground' area has interesting displays of ancient urns.
