Konoba Istriana is easy to find (with a help of iphone maps) but it was also really clearly signed.
We were sit by very spacious table near small flower bush.
All waiters were very friendly and helpful and nice.

A cold appetizer was very good, we have eaten anchovies with capre and red onion, served with local olive oil.
Hot appetizer was delicious-black rissoto. The portion is huge-enough for two persons.
Main course: huge seafruit pot
Good, two fish fillets, four different mussles, schrimps.
No space for a dessert left.

“Excellent food”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

We stayed in Pomer for a week and had dinner and lunch there several times , we were never dissapointed. We were alvays treated as their most valued guests. Great food for all - seniors as kids.
Most recomendable.
Don't forget to have a Grappa or two of their special.

“Excellent! Ausgezeichnet!”
Reviewed December 24, 2012

We were in Pomer for a week. We went to this restaurant almost every night. We got excellent service and the food was phenominal. One of my favorites is "Krautsalat" and I have never had such a good one before and I ate a lot of them all around the Pomer/Pula area. The grilled Calamari were excellent with this year fresh olive oil and garlic. The home made bread was also a treat for the palate when dipped into their own townmade olive oil. The owners are super friendly and accomodating. Their wine was the best I have ever had, fruity but with a lot of potential :) And beware of the Honeyschnaps! Very good and dangerous :):):) You dont want to miss it! Also LOVED the fireplace. Very cozy.
