Thankfully we hadn't read the other reviews when we chanced upon this restaurant in Pula for lunch, or we probably wouldn't have gone in.My husband had a lovely steak and I had chicken and Italian vegetables. It was all cooked very nicely, the service was good with the waiter going out of his way to be helpful. This was probably the dearest meal we had all week, but also one of the nicest.

We have been coming to croatia for 20 years.....worst and most overpriced restaurant we have been too. We were celebrating my husbands birthday. Only 2 things to say: bad food and highly overpriced. What a mistake. Avoid if possible. What a dissapointment.
diluted ketchup for spaghetti sauce. No taste to anything. salt shaker didnt even work. The only good thing was the bread.... and we paid $5 for it!!!!

My boyfriend and I tried this restaurant after a recommendation. It's on the seafront away from the other eateries. Very nice inside. We arrived at 6.30pm (very early for Croatia) so we were the only ones in there! We had local wine for 180 kuna (around £20) which was good but we felt a little pricey for wine that is made half an hour away. We were given a free starter which was average. Then seabass for main which was delicious, we were told it had been caught that morning so super fresh. However it was 720 kuna (£73!!) for two people! We may have been coaxed into having one of the most expensive dishes on the menu but still how can the fish be so much when it's been pulled out of local water about 100ft away from the restaurant?! We wouldn't pay that in the middle of England when the fish has come a ridiculously long way! We didn't realise the price until after we'd ordered (silly, I know). The rest of the menu looked reasonably priced hence the assumption that the fish wouldn't be so expensive!
If you're looking for beautifully cooked fish and have some cash then we would recommend, but if you're on more of a budget then I'm sure there are cheaper places to get good fish in Pula.
