Company is easy to deal with and even refunded an unused ‘non-refundable’ ticket due to a friend’s sudden illness. Victor was our guide; he’s local Dubrovnik born and still resides inside the walls. He knew a lot. Group was somewhat large - 9, but that was because of a rain cancelled tour the day before; still this made it a little awkward since group sat at two tables in restaurants. While food was good and wine and beer plentiful, there wasn’t much info on why we were at a particular restaurant or what we were eating and why. Victor was a lot of fun and overall the experience was a fun event with a quality company.

I booked this tour for a group of 18 traveler friends and our tour guide was Hamo. One of the best things about the tour was that we visited out of the way places and tasted classic Adriatic cuisine. Exactly what we had hoped for! The first stop was for dinner at a family run restaurant to sample typical Croatian dishes and wines. The food and wines were delicious and plentiful. We were made to feel very much at home. The next stop was for a wine tasting at a local wine bar, followed by dessert (cheesecakes, chocolate cakes, etc.) and dessert wines. Last stop was for local Gelatos! Delicious. Our tour guide Hamo was informative, friendly and humorous. He even took us to his neighborhood in old Dubrovnik and told stories about how the war affected his family when he was a child. We were extremely happy with our tour and our group is still talking about what a great experience they had with Hamo. I highly recommend Durbrovnik Food Tours!

Hamo was a wonderful guide on our old town food tour. His knowledge is local history along with his person stories of growing up and living in Old Town were an amazing addition to great food in locally owned restaurants. The food was delicious and we all ended having eaten way too much. With an initial mix up and no one showing up for our tour Hamo came to the rescue and provided us with an exceptional evening. Thank you! Very professional, personal service.

We did the Old Town Food Tour this past week while in Dubrovnik. Tea (Te-ah) was our host, and she provided an excellent tour of the city and various landmarks along with the food tour. She is a wealth of knowledge and showed us where she grew up in the city, where she went to school, etc. Very much a local. Food was very good. We stopped at 3 places: first for charcuterie and cheese, second for main courses (seafood risotto and a beef/gnocchi dish), and then last for desserts. Plenty of wine along the way. We did this right after we arrived into Dubrovnik. Very good way to start our visit. Small group. Only 6 of us total.

Part of the Dubrovnik food tours is a boat tour with Maro. We were a group of six that went on his boat with him touring different locations off shore. He was very welcoming and fun to spend the day touring around. He also made us a fresh clam dish and oysters right from the Adriatic Sea on his boat. His was alos very informative on other things to do around Croatia, since we were traveling to many parts of the country. I would highly recommend getting a tour with Maro.
