Our travel agency chose this activity for us and we had an absolutely amazing time with our hosts Marija and Zlatko in their lovely home. The meal was served outside under their grapevine roofed patio. To begin we were served a variety of typical Croatian foods, including the best prosciutto my daughter and I have ever had, cheeses, homemade wines and liqueurs and delicious homemade bread. The main course, Peka (a lamb and potato dish cooked a unique way), was prepared by Zlatko on an outdoor barbecue and was the best tasting “Peka” we had in Croatia. The relaxing dinner was topped off with a traditional Croatian dessert that we had not tasted anywhere else. We were there for several hours and would’ve liked to stay longer but we were leaving the next morning and had a very early flight.
Along with the meal, there was great conversation and warm hospitality. We highly recommend
