If you want to stay in Old Town Dubrovnik, this is a pretty good value. It was difficult to find upon arrival, but once we settled in it was easy to come and go. The place is a little makeshift, fitting four individual rooms in a small historic building. Our room was up a precarious flight of stairs and had a low ceiling and no ventilation. Some of the outlets were unusable and the lighting in the bathroom was bad. For our short stay though, it was fine. The bed was comfortable and the street was quiet at night. The owner of the apartment is very nice and helpful. She even arranged for us to use a private parking area for a minimal fee. It wasn't a bad stay, but if we return to Dubrovnik, we would stay outside of the Old Town walls. The tourism is so congested and superficial in the center, it would be better to stay in a more authentic area.

Room Tip: Might be better to request the room on the first floor. Bringing bags up the stairs is strenuous and the ceilings are low.

I and my partner were travelling back from Montenegro and stayed in Dubrovnik for one night.

The room itself was clean and the guesthouse is in a great location. The main problem with the guesthouse was that the walls were paper thin and we could hear all the other guests, including their snoring! One group came back late and and another got up at 4am and with thin walls we could hear everything! The next day we were completely exhausted.

We loved staying at Rooms Vicelic! We were here for 3 nights and would have been happy to stay for longer. The place is spotlessly clean, perfectly located in the Old Town and (as has been mentioned many times already!) Darko was a fantastic host. For breakfast there is a cafe just a minute walk away that serves really good simple breakfasts. It's true there are many steps - but if you are looking to stay in the Old Town there is no escaping steps. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends.

Spent a lovely two days in Dubrovnic before heading to Montenegro and found this little hideaway perfect for our needs. We're not 5 Star travellers, preferring to stay in smaller quieter and intimate accommodation, this was perfect. It's very clean, very comfortable and the husband and wife team, Darko and Elma were very helpful and charming. Would definitely recommend it to anyone, other than maybe someone with difficulty with steps. We counted 62!

Friendly host who had good English and helped carry our bags from taxi drop off to the guest-house up many steps. Our was a good clean room, decent bathroom ensuite and central location in the old town, what more can one say? Fair price too. Would definitely use again.
