We stayed at the Ariston Hotel last week and I couldn't recommend it more highly. The room was huge; with a lounge, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and en suite. The views from the balcony were absolutely breath-taking.
The hotel staff were friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Our room was decorated with rose petals and had a bottle of champagne for us on arrival (we held our wedding reception at the Neptun Hotel, part of the same complex).
The breakfast buffet was good but the hot option wasn't to my taste. The pool was lovely and the proximity to the beach was another plus for the hotel.

Room Tip: I would absolutely recommend a room with a sea view on one of the higher floors so that you can appreciate the beauty of the Adriatic.

Booked into Neptun but upgraded to Ariston. Our luggage was taken to our spacious room on the 2nd floor with a beautiful sea view. And what a view it was.. watching the cruise ships arriving and departing along with all the everyday little boats etc. The room was very comfortable and cleaned daily. As the corridors and rooms are carpeted there is very little noise.
Breakfast was served in the Mediterranean Resturant. It was a buffet with lots of choice and if wanted made to order omelettes, boiled eggs, etc.
We were just booked for B&B as prefer to try different places to eat at night. For evening meals there are 3 restaurants attached to the group with many more within walking distance. There is a walkway behind the hotel which takes you into the many bars and restaurants in Lapad.
There are a couple of pools with free towels, sunbeds and umbrellas. There is also a roped off area for those brave enough to swim in the sea. It was wonderfull and especially as there was no sand - straight from the rocks into deep water.
The No6 bus across from the hotel takes you right to the gates of The Old Town. Great for a visit but great to get back to the peace and tranquility of the Ariston.
All in all a great place to stay.

We arrived at Ariston as the first destination of our honeymoon. We booked a year in advance and requested a 3rd floor room with a romantic sea side view. We were told this was booked. We arrived and had a garden level room facing a grove of trees. Granted, they did have a nice set up in our room with champagne and rose petals, but it did not make up for the broken promise in the type of room we received. We spoke with customer service but they did not have any other rooms available. In order to make it right, customer service put us in a higher floor the following nights and gave us a small voucher for the spa. However, it was still not the same quality as we originally requested. Otherwise, we really enjoyed lounging near the ocean in the beach chairs. As a tip, many people get towels early in the morning and lay them on chairs to reserve them. If you have a certain area you want to sit, get it early. Also, the included breakfast is quite good with lots of options, especially the omelet station. But, again, go early or it will close on you and you will have to over-pay for average food. The bar tenders were great and helpful and the view from the pool area is fabulous.

Room Tip: Be sure to book on the third floor! And be sure they can confirm you will get this room.

Had a very good holiday with very nice staff and pretty good food remembering that it was a buffet! Also note the Ariston hotel is part of neptune group where the Neptune hotel is ptractically the same hotel and uses the same facilities!

As soon as we arrived it was clear that we had been fooled. I would rate this hotel as a strong 3* star possibly, but it is nowhere near five star quality!

The rooms are basic, with terrible lighting. We paid extra for a sea view but were placed on the first floor with plants obstructing the view.

The breakfast buffet feels like a school canteen, no service whatsoever, and cheap processed ham and cheese.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, better off spending less somewhere else and sparing yourself the disappointment!
