This place is hidden behind the city wall and it feels like you are entering a secret place. Dont expect service, and they only sell cold drinks like beer and wine. Still, it's well worth a visit. Nothing like a warm lazy afternoon drinking beer looking over sparkling Adriatic sea.

If you're in the old town during or near sunset it's totally worth heading this way. We lucked out with getting a table during the sunset crowd but it's worth trying. Drinks were average priced for the area. Be aware no food besides some high priced Pringles or pretzels. After the sunset the place tends to clear out, but then becomes a romantic hide away on the cliffs looking at the beautiful sea. Follow the signs and find yourself at Cafe Buza.

Well, maybe not hidden, but it's kinda hard to find with the most modest entrance you've ever seen. Just past the church at the top of the big stairs, you will see a wooden sign that says 'Cold Drinks'. Follow that sign and you will not be disappointed! A hole in the wall takes you a beautifully located bar and hang-out spot hanging over the ocean on the outside of the Old City Walls. With a spectacular view, great atmosphere, friendly staff, classics coming out of the speakers(Frank Sinatra, Lionel Ritchie, etc), this is the perfect place to kick back and relax with - yep, you guessed it - a cold drink.

Location-wise this is as good as it gets. Uniquely beautiful.

There are two drawbacks:
- The menu is somewhat limited - which is totally understandable given the location. I can't even imagine the workload if they were to stock up a full bar at this place. Calling it a Café may have you expecting the option to order a cortado or espresso, but the only coffee served here is store bought ice coffee.
- There's only a port-apoty-like solution as here. Which is also, given the location, is totally fair. But might not be to everyone's liking.

Usually this would be good reason for me to pull a few points off of my score, but this place is way too cool for me not to give it 5 out of 5. Just don't expect a wide selection of anything, and don't expect fancy facilities. However, do expect an absolutely beautiful place to hang out. And for what it is - this place is awesome!

Oh, and if you want, bring your swimwear. It's possible to climb the cliffs all the way down to the water. If you're the daring kind - dive for it and receive your ovation from your new friends at Bar Buza. The most memorable bar in Dubrovnik.

After a tiresome and annoying afternoon dealing w/ the crowds off of the cruise ship - all at the cable cars at once no less - my partner and I decided to just stroll up the staircase just past the Jesuit Church. We then followed some signs saying "cold drinks" and more importantly cause I had to go to the bathroom. He was annoyed by this, but it ended up being a great thing.

We found a seat RIGHT infront and watched the most amazing sunset of our lives. We ordered a nice chilled bottle of sparkling wine, yeah it cost about 11 dollars each - but for this view they should be charging MORE.

NOTE: they accept ALL money there. Euro, US, or Croatian money. I didn't see anyone using a credit card, so do have some cash on hand. This was the most amazing place in Dubrovnik.

This place could be hard to find. Follow the signs for cold drinks. Just sitting and relaxing is an added bonus when traveling with a tough schedule to see everything. It is a great place to go after a long day of exploring Dubrovnik. Watching the cliff jumpers can be a bit scary. Don't miss this place. The only thing I didn't like was the temporary bathroom. There is no place for a permanent bathroom though because the city walls are hundreds of years old. So use the WC somewhere else if you need to.
