Fortunately we visited Dubrovnik's Old Town in early March before the tourist season got fully underway. Given the number of people here at this time of year, it's hard to imagine what it will look like in a couple of months. This is a great walking town, with lots to see, including the Rector's Palace, a Franciscan Monastery. Lots of restaurants and little shops, and naturally, all geared towards the tourist. Don't miss the walk along the wall while there. Definitely worthwhile for the spectacular views in every direction.
