There is so much to see in Old Town. We walked around for three days and still didn't see everything within the city walls. The architecture is beautiful, the food is great, the people are friendly. It's easy to fall in love with this place.

Clean, good for people watching, lots of places to buy a souvenir if that is your thing. Easy to catch a ferry to other places from here.

a complete must see! excellent walk around, lovely views, very scenic, boat trips, kayaking available from here. Dubrovnik restaurant by far had the best pizza on this trip. Excellent service, steeped in history, shops and cafes.

We first saw city from the road on our way to cavtat from Dubrovnik from a viewpoint. With 5 kuna coin the view of the town through a telescope was fascinating. It was raining so we decided to visit the next day as we were really excited to visit a city hundreds of years old, steeped in history and cultures. We parked a garage and walked ten minutes to the first sign and there were steps so we walked on to the next gate- 19 . That too had ten steps to get in and we thought ok it's not too bad. When we entered we realized the only way down are the steps, with a little one in a pouch and a another child on the arms, we dragged the stroller down approximately 40 steps. It was worth it as the city is really impressive. The restaurants smelt lovely and we ate at the old which was fantastic. Only regret was that I couldn't manage to get up the city walls as one of the children were asleep. Great place, not recommended with young children

The old city of Dubrovnik is well worth the visit. Full of history, it has very good museums and walking around the city one sees the past etched in the old buildings. The only problem is the overcrowding with 2 or 3 cruise ships disgorging their passengers daily into the city. It is, at times, hard to see the buildings over the raised umbrellas of the tour guides.
