Apparently this synagogue is the second oldest in Europe (the oldest is in Prague). It is a small synagogue, with bimah, scrolls and associated paraphernalia. If you have an interest in Jewish history it is worth a visit.

Having never visited a synagogue befoe I didn't really know what to expect but it was comfortably normal - very interesting to compare it with other churches i Dubrovnik, and there are lots of them!!

The synagogue and museum were amazing. It was great to learn the history of Dubrovnik's Jews. It is sad to see how few Jews are left in this amazing city and the second oldest Sephardic synagogue in Europe. The shop is amazing and has great artwork. We loved the woman who helped us with our purchases. Definitely go and see the synagogue.

This is the only synagogue in Dubrovnik and it is still functional on the High Holy Days. It is a good example of the Sephardic style and the museum has a small collection of interesting objects that are worth seeing such as the list of those who were taken to the death camps in WW2.

It's the second oldest synagogue in Europe. It's small and amazing. The Jewish community is really tiny in Croatia. There are only 30 active members. There's no permanent Rabbi. This history of this building is incredible. It's definitely worth a visit!
