Although the location of this place can’t be beat and the staff is nice, the accommodations are nowhere near a 5 star. The facilities are old, dark and pungent. The $$$ we paid here was not even close to the the value we received at other Croatian hotels. Look for something else unless location is all you care about.More

Spacious 3rd floor room in this hotel in the heart of old town. A/C works well; bathroom is spacious; staff id friendly. We had breakfast included which was ample and delightfully provided. Had dinner one rainy night in the downstairs bar/restaurant. Great food with limited menu and delightfully friendly staff. Overall, a fine experience.

Hotel is in a very convenient spot. Friendly staff. The room is on the 4th floor . I like it. Easily accessible by wheel chair. Surrounded by cafes and 5 minute walk to the City Walls. I loved everything here. Since we don’t do any water activities just 2 days is enough for sightseeing

First time to Dubrovnik and a little unsure where to book but feel like we hit the jackpot in terms of location. Only hotel inside the old town and 3 steps out the front door and you are walking the old city alleys.
Cars can’t get there for drop off or pick up but the hotel organises a porter to meet and greet and walk you the 6-7 minutes to the hotel.
You are on the old town square in a lovely restored building Breakfast is superb and the outdoor dining or drinking gets you well positioned to watch the world go by

We stayed for four days in hotel. There is little to do there .You may call it a heritage hotel but it is no way a 5 star.
May be OK for one day stay.Ofcourse they have created drama like rooms have diffrent names and not numbers and room key is a wooden knob with magnet.

An excellent hotel located within the walls of the old city. The parts of the city that are located within the walls are entirely traffic free. Our eight day stay was helped by the
excellent staff. The Cafe Royale at the hotel served excellent food. The accommodation
was excellent. Very easy to walk round the city within the walls which are walkable (approx. one & a half hours). Access to boat trips round the surrounding islands is easy.
Cable car with views over the city is immediately outside the City walls. Numerous eating establishments within easy walking distance. An altogether excellent experience.
