We stayed six night at the Pucic Palace in the Family Room on the fourth (top) floor. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel. We loved the boutique feel of the property and ability to easily access the city. We took advantage of the location with early morning or evening walks when the city is less busy and the weather is ideal.
The rooms themselves were comfortable. We liked the beds and they brought in a rollaway bed for our youngest allowing us to sleep 5 comfortably. Being the top floor, the rooms had vaulted ceilings and priceless views. (Our only knock was that there was an unpleasant smell from the bathrooms - likely due to the changing weather. While the Pucic Palace team was helpful in trying to address it, it never fully went away.)
The included breakfast was substantial and we liked that it was a la carte. The servers were professional and kind and treated us well. We also had a lunch and dinner in the hotel and found them to be amongst one of our better meals. The front desk team - notably Alem - was incredibly helpful with excursions, recommendations, etc. We booked a boat tour, trip to Mostar, and airport transfers and were very pleased with the quality of the vehicles.
While I suspect there may be more luxurious rooms in and around Dubrovnik, one would be hard pressed to find a more comfortable and centrally-located hotel.
