5 star hotel

Amazing sea views, delicious sumptuous breakfast, restaurant Zoe is a must for lunch or dinner. Free buffet breakfast came with our room and with so many variety. Swimming pools or direct dive to the sea offers spectacular views. We are so glad we did not stay in old town but enjoyed the majestic and peaceful hotel Neptun. Stayed in their 2 bedroom suite with amazing panoramic balcony views!!!

Super hotel with very helpful and friendly Staff.
The room was a good size and had all we needed including robe, slippers, soap wrapped in paper 👏(not plastic) hairdryer, body lotion, shampoo & separate conditioner. There is a kettle with tea and coffee but milk is in a sachet and not that nice. You can always buy some fresh milk.
The no 6 bus runs all day and night every 15 minutes (finishes approx 1.30am) and we managed to catch it back from the old city at 1.00am! You can pay cash 150Kuna each and u can use that ticket for 90 mins as many times as u fancy.
The views from the room are truly spectacular and worth watching.
We left balcony door open all night and listened to the sounds of the Adriatic- simply beautiful.
Breakfast buffet super and something for everyone.
Would stay again for sure.

Went here for my wife's birthday and to meet up with friends.

Babar Kuk (spelling?) is outside Dubrovnik at the end of a 15Kn bus ride from the city (No 6 is the most direct and fastest of the 3). Tip - Check out Dubrovnik City Transport Card beforehand.

Hotel rooms very well appointed with lovely sea views. Rooms are serviced daily and they could enhance environmental credentials by NOT automatically changing the towels every day.

Neptun Hotel breakfast is excellent in quality and quantity with added spectator sport of watching groups of Japanese tourists fill their bags with fruit and nuts for the day ahead! Limited range of light lunches available at pool bar. Self service dinner offers good choice of food.

Neptun Bar area a bit soulless and bar staff likewise. Alternatively, buy something to drink on your balcony, from the shops in the park across from bus stop..

Hotel ideal for a quiet break close to city. Not much going on evenings in hotel. Too quiet for some?.

Coastline here is rocky, the only beach (Copacobana) is gritty not sand. Hotel complex has multiple swimming pools (some heated) available to all guests.

Room tip: Go for a sea view room

We loved this hotel. Spacious, clean, and a short ride into Old Town by either bus or taxi. We received a free upgrade which was such a nice surprise on our last stop of our honeymoon. Beautiful hotel. We highly recommend.

Our late April to early May 2019 stay was perfection. From the greeting by the gracious doorman, the walk across the spotless, mirror finish polished lobby, to our room steward, this hotel IS ITS PEOPLE. If you seek a luxury experience, value priced, and want your hard earned money respected, this hotel is exceptional.

Check in was easy, swift and efficient. Top notch front desk professionals gave us details without our asking.

Our room was ENORMOUS, immaculate, modern. Superbly maintained bathroom (you could eat off the floor), soft comfy bed, superb views of the Adriatic in the pine trees. Robe and slippers in the room. This was our honeymoon. We were given a surprise of rose petals on our bed, complete with towel swans and hearts. The petals had been individually placed to achieve just the right effect. It was brilliant!

If you don't like the breakfast buffet here, you have issues. It is so complete, so delicious, so fresh, so swiftly stocked, so clean, so perfect - delicious coffee, fresh fruit, and fresh baked goods were exceptional...the chef and staff must work around the clock to achieve this top quality and all the while maintaining a quiet, gracious, and superb professionalism. Their dinner buffet, if you choose that option, is no less amazing. May I say a curried pork dish with red peppers and onions was out of this world. Did we feel spoiled? Yes. SPOILED. This hotel creates a fantasy life through the fabulous work ethic of its staff.

Could you stay in town? Certainly. However, the number 6 bus stops right outside the resort, every 6 minutes or so, for a quick trip to town. Buy a ticket, 15 KN, good for 90 minutes on the bus (credit card or exact cash appreciated) and take the ride. The same bus runs from the Pile Gate to Babin Kuk, stops right outside the resort, and if you desire, you may get off the bus and stop in a grocery or shop along the way and get back on within those 90 minutes. Don't like a bus? A taxi will appear in minutes from a quick call by the desk.

We had some difficulty with a tour we had arranged, not by the staff at the Neptun, that was not as advertised. Guest relations went about getting some of our money back. They did not have to do this. This professionalism is supremely impressive to me and we were so grateful.

I was also given white roses upon our departure. I was overwhelmed. This kind of hospitality is disappearing yet it lives in the Neptun staff. Thank you, thank you!

We booked the hotel driver for our trip to the airport. Yet one more magnificent experience with an immaculate vehicle, and a driver who was ready to share his love of Croatia as well as his enormous life experience outside of Croatia. We would have enjoyed spending more time hearing his opinions and his incredible history beyond our swift trip to the airport.

Yes, this is a long review. However, one would have to pay twice as much to get half as marvelous service in a luxury hotel in many countries. We feel that superior service like this should be well recognized in an era of the technologically impatient world. This human touch and excellence is what we all desire. This is THE place to restore yourself and enjoy Dubrovnik.
This exceptional staff is as follows:

Kreso---At Reception... THE BEST....Thanks for the rose petals and arranging for my robe. Our views were exceptional.
Christina (I may have spelled your name incorrectly - our notes were a bit messy)
Valentina (Guest Relations)
Mia (Guest Relations) - do you ever rest?
IN THE TERRACE RESTAURANT:
Kova
Velimir (Chief Chef)
Karlo
Josipa (Lola)
Aleksandra
Antun (Manager)
Vedran (Manager)
Rajka (Hardest working person I know) who also arranged a box lunch for our trip to the airport. We adore you!
Tomo
Zdravko
Andrej
Forgive us if we forgot a name or two. Thank you for the magnificent and precious memories.

Room tip: Just ask. There are no bad rooms in my opinion and we had two different ones as we split our stay with a trip to Split!

Neptun hotel is one of the hotels which are part of Importanne resort, located on Babin kuk peninsula near old town. There is a beautiful walking area in front of hotels, next by the sea. So you can walk to the bars or go down to the beach.

Rooms are very comfortable, most of them have wonderful sea view.

Great breakfast, nice pool, but most of all, pleasent and professional staff made this hotel (and whole resort) my perfect destination to stay in Dubrovnik, and I'm sure I'll come again
