The staff and facilities here are sure to make your stay very pleasant. We made use of the bar area by the pool and given the weather, spent time enjoying the pool too. The room was very good with plenty of space and modern facilities. It is a very easy ride into the old city on the public bus from outside the door, which the staff can sell you tickets for. It is close to Gruz Harbour, where the cruise boats leave from - in fact we walked around to catch our boat. We were very comfortable here and recommend it to others.

This hotel is situated in Lapad bay, opposite to where the cruise ships dock. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff are also some of the best I have encountered anywhere. We were half board, and the food was of a good standard, with plenty of choices for the evening buffet. The rooms in the non smoking part of the hotel are of a modern style, ours was on the corner,so we had a much bigger balcony to the inside rooms. Some people comment about the location, but we found it to be excellent, approx 3K from the old town, walkable in 35 minutes, but the walk is so good we took our time to look around.Only down point is that it is quite hilly both ways, but not that bad you need to be super fit to tackle it.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the corner rooms, bigger balcony,or if you want a view of the bay.

My partner and I just stayed for 4 nights here and it was absolutely perfect. The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly, the view of the sea was lovely and there were a few amazing restaurants nearby within a few minutes walk. I agree that walking along the front can feel unsafe at times, but people are constantly there, and all the drivers seemed used to watching out for people. so it didn't put me off very much. A taxi to the old town took about 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic, and cost around 90 kn. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate and had nearly anything you can think of. I've seen a few comments on the wait staff being rude, but I had no issue with them, their main job was to clear tables and re set them, and there was a waiter constantly going around offering people more coffee. I couldn't fault the hotel and loved my stay there, and would stay again if we went back. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the old town, but still easily get in, stay here. Oh, and the bed was MASSIVE. :)

We spent last week in lovely Dubovnik at the Lapad Hotel. The hotel looks very modern and has very modern amenities. I loved the fact that the suite had a sliding door for privacy and each section had a verandah and enough storage space. The location was also very good and you could step out and take walks around Lapad bay and also walk to the old town. Of course, the walk to town was fraught with danger with very narrow or non existing pavements and traffic simply whizzed by all the time. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly but the serving staff at the breakfast buffet were downright rude. They need to be trained to smile at customers and actually serve! It would take a long time to catch someone's eye to get a simple cup of coffee. The buffet, however, was absolutely terrific. One other minor source of dissatisfaction: the pool is in the front of the hotel. When tourists arrive by the busloads, the front gate which encloses the swimming pool is closed and many of the guests arrange themselves around the pool in various stages of undress in full view of both the bar and the restaurant. Not the most pleasant sight. We almost welcomed the rains! All in all, however, we had a pleasant experience. The Croatians in Dubrovnik are very warm and welcoming to the visitors to their beautiful city.

Room Tip: Ask for an upper level room with a nice view if possible.

Stayed here for our final night in Croatia and booked a room with a sea view. The view of the pool and sea was great!

Pleased to have breakfast included in the booking which was a buffet and more than adequate to fill up on.

The hotel location is not great if you want to be amongst the action in the evening but it is an ok base if you want a pool and a bit more relaxation.
