Description: Creative Dalmatian/Mediterranean Cuisine in an elegant setting. We offer fresh sea food, homemade pasta and great steaks from our charcoal grill set in our open kitchen. Only 3 restuarants in the area are certified to sell blue fin tuna and we are one of them. And we know how to prepare it ;)

We stayed few days in the port of Dubrovnik and tried several restaurants in the are. Amfora was absolutely the best in the area. King prawns as an appetizer not only looked good, but were delicious. Also Tuna steak and other fish meals were very tasty. I personally can recommend "filet Mignon"-type steak. It was good. Also the local wines recommended by our waiter were excellent. Our waiter - Zoran - deserves extra thanks for his hospitality.

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, great food for a reasonable price, if you visit dubrovnik then you will be guaranteed good food and service at this place - we would go again for sure.

Visited for dinner for two. Had house (local) aperetif which was very good, followed by a delicious chicken soup starter & perfectly cooked Tuna steak & avocado/tomato salsa as a main. Husband had lovely sea-bass filet which was good but there was far too too much saffron sauce which together with the celeriac purée made for a mushy meal. The chocolate pudding dessert was amazing! We ended with a house digestif which rounded off a great meal.
Only quibbles were that the restaurant was too cold & was very quiet as it was the end of the season (not their fault!)
Very knowledgable waiter who discussed the wine choices in a lot of depth.

We had lunch here last week and thought the food was very fresh and tasty, the tuna steak was cooked to perfection and the seafood pasta was scrummy.
We only had a main dish and two beers, with bread and olive oil and the bill was about £25, well worth it and the service was excellent
