We stayed one night before getting on a gulet cruise. Had a studio for four of us exactly what we needed. Picked us up from the airport much cheaper than taxi. When we arrived we were offered a welcome drink. Run by a lovely lady and her husband took us into old town for free too!
Within walking distance of ferry terminal and bus stop.
We even had our own balcony,

Jele is a lovely host she is so friendly and welcoming and brought me some juice and a plate of grapes when I first arrived and gave me lot's of information on Dubrovnik and what to see and do. The rooms themselves are above where the family lives so they are always on hand if you need anything. The room I stayed in was a good size with a TV, fridge, kettle and bowls, cups and plates in it. The shared bathroom is really close to all the rooms and is very clean. It is just a short walk from the harbour and bus station to the rooms however they are up a stepped car free street so beware if you have heavy luggage or walking difficulties. Also it can be tricky to find as the street is hidden at the back of a small square. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to old town or to the beaches but Jele can provide you with bus information if you prefer to take public transport. If you are looking for a hotel then this isn't for you as it's more like staying at a friends house, I really enjoyed my stay.

Nikolina rooms was just what I needed upon arriving to Dubrovnik! A delightful place tucked just behind the port with friendly hosts to help make your stay as enjoyable as it could be! I was picked up at the airport (with my own little personalised sign, mind you!) and taken to Nikolina rooms without any hassle at all. It did cost €20 but this was definitely worth it! Once arriving at the property I was greeted with little treats that made me feel extremely welcome and at home. My room was perfect for me, it had everything I needed. Yele and her accommodating family were there to help me with whatever I needed, whether it was to find out the best place to swim, the best place to go for a drink and eat, the tours around Old Town or transportation needs, they could help with everything! The apartments are conveniently located, 2 minutes walk to the bus stop which takes you to Old Town, there's a grocery store, coffee shops, fresh fruit market and more just down from the rooms. I absolutely loved my stay and will definitely return!

We had arrived to Dubrovnik on bus missing our connecting ferry so had an impromptu stopover in the harbour area. We decided to eat at a local restaurant, there we explained our predicament and the manager contacted Jele. She walked down to the restaurant and brought us to the apartment. Once there we were provided with a variety of refreshments (I chose the home made wine) and as it was late we retired to bed.

The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable, probably the best nights sleep I had in a few days (we had returned from split and Dubrovnik).

Jele's warmth and friendliness was a true highlight of our trip to Croatia.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nikolina Rooms. Jele is so friendly, when we arrived she offered us a welcome drink and gave us all the information we could need for our stay. The room was clean and had a/c. It also had a fridge, kettle, bowls and cutlery which was great. Sharing a bathroom wasn't a problem. We found the price to be very reasonable and Jele's husband also gave us a lift to the airport (20 euros) which was far easier than catching the bus. We followed the directions we were given and found the house with no problems. Dubrovnik is a short (10-15min) bus ride and the buses are extremely frequent. We would definitely return.

Room Tip: Ask for the front room with a view of the sea

These are rooms located on the upper floor of a private family home. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The owner will offer to give you a ride to the center for less price than a taxi - which works out better if you are traveling in a party of four. If your party is less than four people, it would be cheaper to take the bus which is just down the stairs at the port.

The room is nothing extravagant. It is clean and well maintained. Comes with a kitchen and private bath. We slept four people in the same room and it didn't feel crowded. Nice view of port from balcony.

A/C is powerful and cooled off the whole room evenly.

If you're looking for a standard place to keep your stuff, sleep & shower while visiting Dubrovnik, this is not a bad choice.

The place is not on a street for cars, rather, a little stone staircase that goes up/down to and from the port. We had to ask some locals to show us where it was since we were coming by car w/o GPS and were looking for a street to turn onto.

Keep in mind that Dubrovnik is VERY expensive for this part of the world so do not be expecting normal Balkan prices.

Even though it was a bit difficult to find, once you get there, everything works. It is not an hotel, you are renting rooms which are the upper floor of a house where a family lives. Nice & Clean rooms, with great views, air conditioning...
Nikolina & family are very helpful people, once you get there, she offers you juice & water, and all the info you need to move around Dubrovnik.
