We have just completed an excellent week kayaking the Elephite Islands. I think we circumnavigated 5 islands plus a visit to the Botanic gardens on the mainland. Our guide, Ivan could not have been more helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was not flash but comfortable and breakfasts were great. Only disappointment was communication prior which was poor. My wife was promised a kayak with a rudder but there are none on these Islands. The RTF kayaks were extremely stable in rough seas but did not track well without rudders. Some had damage but there were plenty to choose from.

We spent a week on the Family Sea Kayaking Holiday, and everything about it was superb. The island of Lopud is lovely, and the sea kayaking just right for a family with 2 kids - our boys were too young for their own kayak so we had tandems which were great fun, very stable and manageable with a youngster in the front who doesn't paddle much! The guides were very good, knowledgable, kind and looked after us well. The only thing which wasn't perfect for us was that one or two of the lunches went on a bit long, and our boys got a bit bored and wanted to be back on the water (as did I actually). Apart from that, the whole experience was excellent - I would recommend it to anyone who fancies some kayaking around beautiful islands, good food and drink and wonderful company.

We had a great trip with kayaks for 7days on the Elaphite Islands. The tourguides were proffesional, helpful and knowledgeable - especially for kayak beginners! We visited the islands Lopud, Kolocep and Sipan - where time and place stands still and tourism business is like in the old days. Clear seawater, peacefull and quiet. Everyone felt at ease from the first day we meet with our guides. They were ready to change the programe to everyones satisfaction depending on the weather conditions. Great trip!

A group of kayaking newbies from Norway spent a week outside Dubrovnik kayaking with Amir and Boran of Discrover. We were picked up at the airport and taken into the city for a great tour with the company manager, who had a lot of knowledge and enthusiasm about the old city. Then we went by boat out to the islands Lopud and Sipan, where we spent a few days on each island. Each day we were taken to see new stunning places along the coast by kayak. Everything was well organized, the equipment was in good condition, logistics worked smoothly, our luggage was taken care of while we paddled across from one island to the next, all in all a seamless experience.

The guides Amir and Boran were great and skilful guys, very good at teaching the basic techniques of kayaking and they taught us newbies a lot in a short time. They were always eager to teach new things when we asked, and were also great fun to be around. Hope to be back another year :D

Had a great time on the 7 day Lopud / Sipan kayak trip. This is a series of day kayak trips coming back to the same accommodation in each island. It was less strenuous than previous kayak expeditions that we had undertaken, but still needs a reasonable level of fitness. We were blessed with good weather, but if it is windy I could see it being much harder work, although the route is variable to be paddling mostly in the sheltered side if the islands.
Accommodation on Lopud was functional - the room fittings may not look pretty (or smell great as the drains need sorting out), but everything worked. The reception was very friendly - we left a pair of paddling boots outside as they were too sandy to take in, and found that the owner had cleaned and dried them for the next morning! A hair dryer was quickly found on request.
Accommodation in Sipan was excellent. Your luggage stays with you in the accommodation and is moved for you between the islands, so you don't have to pack ultra-light.
Guiding from Joseph was expert and laid back, just the right combination.
