“Fantastic short kayaking break”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

I joined the short kayaking break based in Lopud and was initially a bit nervous about going on my own. I had nothing to worry about as it was expertly organised and everyone was super nice. Accommodation was good enough, I had a single room with my own bathroom and air-conditioning. It was clean and quiet. The first day was easygoing, we had time to relax on the beach and slowly met the whole group. There were 9 of us, including Amir who was an excellent guide. He made sure everyone knew the techniques and was safe but he was also easygoing, chilled out and always cool! He had most meals with us and shared his experiences. It was great to be part of a lovely group, we had most meals together but if anyone wanted to do their own thing, that was fine too. The kayaking was an amazing experience, we kayaked around different islands and into caves. The water was crystal clear, simply stunning. It was hard to leave on the fifth day as I had an absolutely great time. When returning to Dubrovnik, my return ferry was arranged, I was picked up by Ivana and transferred to my hotel. She was so warm, friendly and gave me great recommendations on things to do in Dubrovnik. Book your trip, you won't regret it!!

“Adria Adventure's sea kayaking trip around Elaphite Is.”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

I cannot recommend the Adria Adventure tour highly enough! Start to finish, this trip was excellent. The routes we took around the islands were beautiful and our very experienced guide Amir was calm in every situation, dealing with a mixture of kayaking abilities. There was a great sense of fun and camaraderie during the week and everyone who took part in the tour agreed it was a brilliant time. Pick up and transfer of people and bags to and from the airport couldn't have been more helpful and efficient. Adria Adventure helped to make my first visit to Croatia superb. It will definitely be a company I will contact again. Best regards!

“Great Day Trip out of Dubrovnik”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

Adria Sea Kayaking was one of the best experiences that our group had in Croatia. Our guide for the day Ivan was a large part of it. He was very knowledgable about the areas we kayaked, probably because he was from one of the islands we visited! He showed us small beautiful spots in and around Lepud, Sipan and a smaller uninhabited island. The areas were only accessible by kayak so the view, swimming and caves were all pristine. Our group of 4 had a tasty lunch at a small harbor town on Sipan. If you have a chance and the time definately have Ivan show you the church just outside of town up the hill. There are great views into the interior of Sipan. I highly recommend this trip. We were in Dubrovnik for three days and it was totally worth a day away from the crowds of the city. Plus the ferry ride out gives great views of the mainland and surrounding islands. A good value as well!

“Hiking seven days Elaphite Islands & Dubrovnik Walking Tour”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

Adria Adventure treated us like royalty by making sure we were happy with our visit to Croatia. They met us at the airport, delivered us to the ferries, our hotels and ensured we had accomodations that were comfortable and met our expectations. Although we had one guide Givo (sp), we had the opportunity to get personal attention by Ivana on our old city walk and our first day on Lopud. Givo always made sure we had enough hiking, swimming and time to discuss Croatia. Thank you for the excellent introduction to Croatia!

“Day Tour, One Day – 3 Islands: Lopud, Ruda, Sipan”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Since we only had 3 days in Dubrovnik, we opted for the 1 day kayak tour (from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.). To me, this meant that we start in Dubrovnik at 8 a.m. and come back to Dubrovnik at 4 p.m., but what it really means is that 8:30 a.m. is when you meet your guide, and 4 p.m. is when the tour ends on Lopud - but there are no ferries to Dubrovnik until 7 p.m. that evening. So, this was a little misleading as we thought we had another half day in Dubrovnik after this tour. if you're booking this tour, allot an entire day and don't plan anything else in the afternoon in Dubrovnik.
That being said, we met our guide in the Port of Gruz, in front of the Travel Corner at 8:30. Bring cash as they do not take credit cards. We went on a tour on a Sunday and just happened to be the only people for that tour, so, we had the guide all to ourselves. We took the ferry together to Sipan (the biggest island), where we picked up our kayaks. You will be given a waterproof bag for your valuables. You may get a one person or two person kayak. We paddled between Sipan and Ruda, docking in a few places for a swim and some snorkeling. We paddled to a cave and were able to go inside and swim, which was great. Depending on the day, the water levels allow you to either go in with your kayak, however, that day, the water levels were high, so we had to leave our kayaks outside in the water and we swam inside the cave. This was the best part of the tour. After this, we kayaked around the cliff where we saw some cool rock formations. After this, it was straight back to Lopud.
Our guide was very nice and easy to talk to, and took care for our enjoyment and safety. At Lopud we dropped off the kayaks and parted with our guide. The next ferry didn't come until 7 p.m. that evening, so we spent some time on Lopud's beach on the other side of the island.
