The three islands are beautiful, but .... the cheap, warm wine was served in plastic glasses from plastic decanters. The fish was tasteless. The staff unfriendly - all they were interested in was the tip at the end of the day. The "captain" smoked and drank wine - this is unacceptable and unprofessional behaviour for somebody who was responsible for the safety of 40+ passengers. Some of the boats may have more professional and informed crew - therefore the following details about our trip: 25 June 2013 - 9:30 (LEA travel)

Well worth the money with time to spend on each of the islands. The food was a very pleasant surprise as it was exceptional and the crew were both informative and friendly. All in all, a great day out

There is some beautiful spots in Dunrovnik. The cruise shows you the perspective from the water but that can be done with a few small criuises. A whole day & 20 mins on one island 40 on another 60 on the last . The beaches aren't great , too many boats.
Not worth the money

We turned up at the docking point to be told to wait at one side by the lady who was checking everyone's tickets, the boat that was advertised left without us, about 15 minutes later another smaller vessel arrived and the remaining people hopped on. We realised that most of the people put on this boat where of the sub 30 year old category, and it soon became apprent why, after leaving the marina the captain (shades donned) pressed the horn and started playing some current popular music ie Rihanna, it had started! We did the three islands in a different order as advertised which where pleasant but in essence just islands with a beach and some history (to be honest we didn't have enough time on the island too explor). The captains advice on the Sipan was "there isn't a great deal here take a few pictures and be back in 20 minutes". The food that was servered was really nice, I wasnt expenting much but the white fish I had and prawns my girlfriend had was tasty, they even had some left over which they handed out to the greedy ones. Me and my girlfriend also notice the boat getting less crowded as the trip when on, this was because we where leaving people behind, some one told the captain as we left the last island and he's response was "I don't care" and turned the music up.
To summarise If you want to see the islands for all there glory or are genrally miserable/find it difficult to see the positive in anything don't go on this trip, however If like me you want a fun day out with pleanty of cheap wine & food and a bit of a jolly give it a go. The guys even let me sail the boat, this was on the way back when everyone was too drunk to notice or care... along with the captain.

Enjoyed a wonderful cruise along central Dalmatia June 23-30, 2012 aboard the brand new mega yacht the Adriatic Pearl! There have been a number of good and bad comments about the ship but everyone uniformly loved the sites and the destination...Dalmatia is truly fantastic! A great combination of history (Diocletian's Palace in Split is 1700 years old!), natural wonders (Cetina River, Mljet National Park) combined with laid back lovely people and weather and an ocean to die for! I have travelled the world and seen quite a few bodies of water but the Adriatic ranks second only to Tahiti in terms of cleanliness, clarity, temperature and just the pure joy of jumping off the back of a yacht into clear crystal waters that you can laze about forever! The ship I was on was fabulous too - a maximum of 38 people, 9 staff and a Cruise Director (unusual for a boat this size), spacious AC cabins, big tiled bathrooms, elegant restaurant with a leather salon...sun deck...casual and friendly crew and passengers. There were some "birthing" problems in the initial few cruises that people have already reviewed on another post but on my sailing we toured the fish market in Split where the Captain purchased around 10 kilos (about 22 lb) of fresh mussels and that same day we had a mussle soup that was finger lickin, bread dipping good! The breakfast was the only real problem with instant coffee and limited eggs served to 8 people on a plate for 1...until we figured out we could simply ask for more - and they kept the omlettes coming! But finally the ship solved the problem by purchasing warmers and the needed equipment and woilllla...buffet breakfast was served! See the photos! Anyway, the cruise and the ports, especially Korcula and the rarely visited Pucisce with its stonemasonary school on the Island of Brac were magnificent! The cruise and destination is great for honeymooners, families with teens, friends and seniors alike! On our sailing there was a family of 5 with 3 teens whol loved it and two old "geezerds" 82 and 89 years old! We all got along famously! And since a lot of people have been asking for more information especially photos and new videos there is a number of videos posted on youtube via valuerivercruises ... while I will attempt to post some of my photos here... Bye bye for now!
