After examining tripadvisor for some good restaurants to try on our 3 night break in Dubrovnik we came across Bota which being Oyster and Sushi lovers looked to tick all the right boxes. Well to eat there 2 out of our 3 nights tells you what we thought of it . Having eaten Sushi in many places around the world i can honestly say the selection, freshness and value for money was fantastic. Hidden away just off of the main square was perfect position for the restaurant, with Great owner (Peter) and great staff . Try to make it there if you can you will not be disappointed . My boyfriend and I went on holiday and Dubrovnik and found BOTA one night wandering through Old Town. We ended up eating there 3 times out of our 5 night stay! Our waiter was beyond friendly, the food was so fresh and delicious (you can't find oysters any better than along the coast!) and what a great setting over looking Old Town. A must go!

For two people, who haven't eaten sushi, this was the perfect way to try. We got very good recommendations about what to try and we were stunned: it's good! :) A bit pricey place but it was worth it.

Sushi and sashimi were delicious and very fresh. Rice was well cooked and sashimi sliced to perfection. The prices were very reasonable too. The fusion of Dalmatian and Japanese worked very well, no more so that the tuna carpaccio and tartar dishes, which were a sensation. Nice convenient setting and friendly service too.

If you like a bit of fish then get on down to Bar BOTA. The menu isn't very big, but it's ample for a nice lunch. We hung out here for a couple of hours and sampled their oysters, and a few other dishes, with the waiter recommending a couple of bottles of wine too. It's situated in the Old City, and makes for for a nice afternoon.
