We enjoyed a free liqueur while a table was set up for us on the street outside. The waitresses and the manager are lovely and seem to appear just as you need them which is always handy.

After plumping for a fish platter we ordered some drinks and settled back to enjoy the quiet Dubrovnik bustle.

The fish platter was excellent and full of tasty morsels like baby squid and prawns in a buttery sauce. The mussels were juicy and fresh. But the star of the meal was the grilled fish (well, the two grilled fish) which were meaty and cooked to perfection.

Great value for money and far superior to Moby Dicks on the same street.

We had a rather generous seafood platter between the 2 of us and retired to bed with satisfied smiles plastered across our faces. Loved the service and enjoyed a free aperitif while we waited for a table to be set up in the beautifully kept alley outside. Entirely reasonable prices too!

We loved this restaurant. The owner made an extra effort to accommodate our abbreviated schedule, as we had to catch our bus back to our cruise ship, and served us in record time! The seafood was fresh and ample.... we had a sampler, including lobster, as well as raw oysters from the crystal clear waters of Dubrovnik, and enjoyed some local wine, which was fresh and easy n the palate. Our very positive experience at this restaurant capped off a stellar day in Dubrovnik itself. There was an adorable gift shop adjacent to the restaurant where I purchased an original watercolor of the city as well as other local wares for souvenirs from our last cruise stop. Located in one of the narrow alleys leading up from the walled city, this restaurant is well worth enjoying when you are here!

Located on the street next to Stradun, just a top of some stairs, this place offers pretty standard Mediterranean/Croatian cuisine. The prices aren't exactly low, but not too high either. My pepper steak was delicious and cooked just right. The traditional fish dish my wife had was advertised by the menu as "spicy" but apparently it wasn't so. This wasn't exactly the restaurant's fault because on my experience what is perceived as "spicy" on the Mediterranean almost never constitutes as such in my books.

The house wine they sell by the jar was pretty inexpensive but after a few sips I started hoping I had ordered something of better quality (and higher price). They also offered a free glass of sweet appetizer wine.

The place is "funny", "roccoco", you have the impression to eat in someone's house
The main courses are not bad but there is nothing special
piece of friendly advice: avoid the seafood risotto there is surimi in it...
One good point: aperitifs were offered :) (white martini)
