Description: Considered as the fore-front of the modern gastronomic revolution, Peruvian cuisine found its first fine dining address on the Adriatic Coast – Restaurant Victoria. Victoria newest menu makeover came together with chef Roberto Chavez who, guided by health-conscious cuisine philosophy, is determined to lead his guests through a flavourful “round the world journey” that Peruvian cuisine stands for. The richness of tastes comes from an already unique blend of different microclimates; those of Pacific coast, Andalusian heights and Amazon jungle, which centuries-long gracefully welcomed culinary influences from immigrant cultures. Blending in the Pre-Inca and Inca roots with the flavours of the Spanish, Basque, African, Asian and French, Italian and British cuisine Chef Roberto serves fine gourmet meals that reflect harmony and happiness beyond the kitchen.

A sax player was performing in the beautiful surroundings. The waiter was fast friendly and professional. The food was excellent. A wonderful evening.

“Made Me Cry!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2012

This is, by far, the most beautiful restaurant we've ever experienced. We went to Croatia for our Honeymoon and Victoria restaurant was our second best experience (the first being the drive from Dubrovnik to Makarska - breathtaking scenery along the coast). But, Victoria restaurant was so excpetionally romantic. I, literally, cried upon seeing the view from our table. Before we sat down, we enjoyed the iounge area outside...soaking in the atmosphere..the soft lighting,..the gorgeous trees and lush grounds...and that view...wordscannot describe. Our dinner was perfect. The wine glasses were Reidel (not to sound too snobby) but we love our wine from a fine glass. My steak was tender and so flavorful. Our foie gras was superb. The service was fantastic. If you're not looking for romance and elegance, don't come here. We live near NYC and didn't find the prices bad at all. New York is far more expensive and you're definitely not getting a view like this. Make a reservation for 7:30 so you can watch the sun set from your table. This is an experience you'll never forget and you'll never find a more romantic restaurant. It is exquisite and sublime.

“An awful restaurant in a beautiful place”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 17, 2012

Since we were staying in the hotel next door we decided to try the Victoria restaurant. Never such an idea could have been worse. Staff unpolite almost rude, food absolutely not at all to the level of a 5 star hotel. I ordered a sea bass which was basically 2 strips of skin which I didnt have the gut to taste. My husband ordered the 'risotto al dente' which was totally overcooked and looked more like white porridge! Our complaints resulted in the cancellation of the bill but without any excuses. We had to go and dine somewhere else.

“Great location - great food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2012

Great food, great location. The food was fantastic, but the prices are a little dear considering some of the options in town. It is part of a hotel though, hence why you pay a little more. Beautiful view of the Adriatic and the old town.

“Overrated”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2012

This is a smart restaurant but unfortunately the food didn't live up to the hype the restaurant's website talks about. The duck whilst tasty was nothing special, and the Tiger Prawn cake was tasteless.
It is very expensive which wasn't justified by the food - dinner at the Restaurant Dubrovnik the following night had a much higher level of cooking for half the price.
