Generally the food in Croatia was bland in taste and lacking imagination in content. Our landlady recommended Lady Pi Pi as it's away from the main streets in the old city. A bit tricky to find at first and just inside the east side of the wall.
They work on a first come first served basis and there's usually a queue from 8pm onwards -arrive early. The restaurant is open air but covered, with great views over the rooftops.
For once the food was very tasty, all the dishes were served fresh, hot and to a good standard.
I've given a 5 rating in comparison to other Croatian restaurants. Nevertheless well worth a visit - if only to be shocked/amused by the statue from which the name is derived!
