5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2014

We spent two nights at Villa Sigurata and the manager, Nikoljna, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and conveniently located. The kitchenette was a bonus - free tea and coffee. The location is just perfect for seeing Dubrovnik and also for the airport bus on arrival.

We stayed for a week at Villa Sigurata and have to say it was a lovely place to stay. Nikolina made us very welcome and have us lots of ideas on what to do and where to eat. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend that people stay here.

My partner and I stayed at Villa Sigurata during May 2014. Nikolina, the Manager, was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. From making the booking Nikolina emailed the offer of a transfer - which we didn't need as the public transport is very easy - but also directions to the hotel from the entrance to the old walls (it is very easy to find from the directions given).

We stayed in the Annex which is a short wall from where we met Nikolina and I would highly recommend the Annex for anybody wanting to stay inside the old walls of Dubrovnik.

The room was clean and spacious; you can see it has been renovated yet it maintains the ambiance of the old town. Villa Sigurata is the perfect location inside the city walls and it is also very reasonably priced. Everything is within walking distance so I really do struggle to fault the place.

Room Tip: I stayed in the Annex and was very happy with the Annex room

Good location inside the city walls. Close to all the attractions. Nikolina had to meet us at the cathedral --- i think it is because it would take us forever to find the place ourselves.

Place was clean and nicely renovated.

Coffee / tea is provided. There are a lot of places to get breakfast in the city.

Just a note: rooms are a bit small. With limited space. (if you care)

We stayed at Villa Sigurata in May 2014. Nikolina (the owner) greeted us by name on our arrival, and the excellent service continued throughout our stay. The room was fresh, clean, nicely renovated so that it is modern, but still retains a taste of the old town. The location is very nice as well, being very convenient to get to and from the major sites, but also quiet. For being located in the Old Town with a lot of stone structures all around, they had very good Wi-Fi connectivity. Do be aware that payment is cash only, but she accepts both Euro and Kuna, and there are plenty of easily accessible ABM machines in the Old Town.

We loved villa Sigurata and would definitely return there! It is located just above the heart of old Dubrovnik, so you are literally within a 5-6 min walk from all the main attractions, restaurants, etc. That means you can easily get a quick rest in the afternoon or that your bed is really close once you finally decide it's time to leave the bar... The room (#4) was beautifully decorated, comfy bed, impeccable bathroom ( which is thoroughly cleaned every day). There are 7 rooms in this beautifully renovated house, two in each floor and a suite on top. 16 stairs per floor. At the ground floor there's a kitchen with everything you might need, plus many tourist books and leaflets, free tea and coffee all day. Nikolina, the owner, is friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us some wonderful recommendations for restaurants and things to do. We booked the room a month in advance, during which she quickly answered all my questions and offered valuable advise. She also arranged our ride to the airport, very resonantly priced (less than the going rate). I wouldn't stay anywhere else :-)

Room Tip: We stayed in Stulina 4, there are other buildings too under this management. It seems that rooms # 2...

We loved every minute of our stay with Nikolina at Villa Sigurata. The room was great, the location was great, everything was great (even the WiFi). Nikolina met us after the car service dropped us off at the entrance of Old Town and walked us to our location. She made us feel at home right off the bat and even took time to point out some essential visits on the map. The location also couldn't be any better. Everything was spotless and the room was cleaned everyday. Not to mention the beds were so comfortable. We had absolutely nothing to complain about during our stay. Thank you, Nikolina & Luka!
