Located by the docks where boats are busy giving rides to tourists, Poklisar provides a great atmosphere for outside dinning under enormous umbrellas in an open square. Four couples ate dinner here and enjoyed the friendly wait staff, the English menu, the passing scenery, and the delightful piano music. The meal began with a complimentary tuna pate served with warm bread. Most of us had the house specialty--a tomato-based fish soup which had a spicy kick to it. Potato soup was also available and was quite good. The pizza was tasty, and the penne pasta with fresh veggies was absolutely yummy. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The house wines were good and priced right. There was no hurry from the wait staff, so we lingered and enjoyed the evening.
