“Simply a great place for a try local wines”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2013 via mobile

There is nothing grand about this place execept the welcome and the local wine choice. If you are new to Croatian wines there is no better place to start than here. Anita is very knowledgable and will explain the choices before you in a very professional and enjoyable manner. In our view the many excellent ratings D'Vino has received are well justified. You can get a bottle of beer too!

“Great Wine Selection, Knowledgeable Staff, and Wonderful Snacks”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2013

My husband and I visited here twice while in Dubrovnik and loved it. This is a great place to try some Croatian wines. They have different flights to choose from. I tried both the red and the white and both were worth trying and came with accompanying descriptions of each wine and their flavors. The staff was very knowledgeable and was able to ascertain what we would or wouldn’t like. You can buy wine by the bottle or the glass or buy a bottle to take away with you. The bar also had light snacks that you could order with your wine. There was a cheese plate and a meat and cheese plate option which paired perfectly with the wine. They were all local cheeses, so you could try yet another Croatian item. We ordered a cheese plate for the two of us to share and it was rather large for just the two of us, especially as an appetizer before going to dinner. It came with olives and slices of bread. The guy working the bar was funny and we had fun bantering back and forth with him, as well. We sat inside at the bar on our first visit. The interior feels hip and loungey yet comfortable. It was a fun, relaxing
place with an overall good vibe. It was a good spot to ask questions, peruse the menu, and try some tasting flights while deciding on a whim to order a cheese plate after seeing how good the one they were making for another group of customers looked. On our second visit, we perched on a small love seat they had set up with a little coffee table in the corner. We sipped our glasses of wine and just relaxed. There were also several high-top tables both inside and out that filled up in the evening with people relaxing over a glass of their favorite wine. I think it’s a great stop in Dubrovnik for any wine lover or person interested in learning more about Croatian wines.

“fab place, not to be missed”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2012

Great little bar. Being able to sample a wide range of Crotian wines by the glass was a real treat. Having been in Crotia and sampled some not so great wines by the glass at restaurants it was a mini boot camp intro to the wines of the country and helped me to figure out what I liked and what I should be ordering.
Staff was very knowledgable and the banter between the owner and the young guys who work there was entertaining. Easy to spend far too long in here!

“Wine flights and more”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2012

Like everyone else we were drawn to D'Vino by the reviews on TA. We certainly weren't disapponted and the wine flight gave us our first tasting of local wines. Our preference is for red wines and for us the Dignac was right up our street. The staff were really hepful and took the time to explain the details of each of the wines. As we were in Dubrovnik for a week we managed to go back a few times for a nightcap, Dignac of course and at 16% volume one glass was a perfect end to the day.

“Great wine tasting!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2012

We were short on time but stopped in down the alley at the wine bar. Great exoerience and wish we could have stayed longer. The red wine flight was a nice way to taste their selection although I would have liked to have tried at least one more more the 8 euro price. Staff was friendly and polite and offered the children with us candy!
