Princess apartments are above all clean and well presented, and for the location offers good value and covers all your basic needs..except for an iron.
Located inside the city walls you are stumbling distance from the main strip of shops and bars however this does have draw backs that you need to be aware of - cars cannot get inside the city and there are a LOT of stairs. If you are restricted on mobility or travelling with a lot of luggage then this may be a tricky choice. If possible try to travel hand luggage as I was having a mini melt down by the time I got to the apartment with my 1 big 18kg case.
The other trade off is of a value location is that it is small, it’s manageable as long as you manage your expectations. We took to calling it ‘bijou’ to make light of it. One person is fine, 2 people is intimate. This is especially true of the shower - an ark shaped corner shower I struggled to navigate how to get the soap onto myself and not washed away without turning the water on and off again as there is no hanging storage so your toiletries are on the floor for you to pick up in a small space and not get a face full of water.
If you’re looking for a comfy bed on a budget this is a good find, I just feel that they could improve perceptions and feel less basic and more cosy by adding just a few comforts. Bigger fluffier towels, hanging shower storage etc
