As many restaurants are closed in Dubrovnik during January, our hotel (Hilton Imperial) suggested the nearby Sesame. It was a quiet weekday evening with only one other couple in the dining room. Fortunately, the slow tourism season did not seem to diminish the quality of food being prepared in the kitchen. We enjoyed a starter of handmade ravioli - the pasta dough was light and tender with a filling of spinach and ricotta. We enjoyed mains of fresh-tasting, well-prepared fish, with chard and boiled potatoes (common side accompaniments in the region). For wine, we thoroughly enjoyed a Korta Katarina posip - highly recommended. The server was very pleasant. All in all, an enjoyable evening.
