Description: Atlantic kitchen concept is simple: highest quality ingredient, uncomplicated dishes, no pretense. Our flavors and toppings change with the seasons while meat and fish are sourced from carefully selected farms, local suppliers and purveyors. “Serving affordable, rustic dishes inspired by fusion of Croatian and Mediterranean cuisine made with integrity, from seasonal ingredients in a warm and welcoming space. We stumbled on Atlantic Kitchen by chance - having seen the menu board at the bottom of the (very) steep set of stairs on Lapad promenade others have referred to. We were glad we climbed them, and went back again in our week-long stay - food was excellent, and reasonably priced for the quality. Highlights included the Meditarrenean mezze (with meatballs and garlic loaves), the breaded pork and the steak - which was cooked brilliantly. House wines were also of a decent quality, with a pleasant ambience - the restaurant itself decorated nicely with an Italian theme and smooth jazz playing in the background.

Would thoroughly recommend, and the Kitchen certaintly deserves its TripAdvisor 'Certificate of Excellence' which adorns the front window - although it's advisable to get there earlyish as (certainly when we were there) service ended at 10pm.

We ate here twice during our recent stay in Dubrovnik. On both occasions we enjoyed great friendly service and high quality food. we particularly liked the fish cakes and the meat balls. Good choice of drinks from beer to wine. Thanks to the staff for their very professional service and customer focus.

We were on holiday with our 2 year old so dinners out were limited , we were keen to give this place a go though so got our boy to sleep in his Priam and headed to the restaurant. It was pretty quiet which was good for a sleepy baby.

We had great service, great wine and delicious food. It was a very memorable evening and a highlight of our trip to Dubrovnik.

I had scallops, fish cakes and chocolate sundae. My wife had a trio of bruscetta, goats cheese salad, and chocolate brownie. We had a bottle of red. Our son slept through the meal and we had a great night

We had a garlic bread starter, which was two bread rolls with oil and garlic on - not the kind of garlic bread you might be used to.

For main courses, we had the pork cutlets served with potato wedges and a horseradish dip, and the king prawns. A little disappointed this only contained four prawns but the flavours and presentation was nice.

In total, including two large beers, our meal came to 309 kunas (approx £29) which was pretty reasonable.

Not disappointed we visited, as it was acceptable and reasonably priced, but nothing to shout about.

We ate here several times on our visit to Dubrovnik. The seafood was fresh and the salads good. The price value was excellent. Although somewhat difficult to find, it is worth the effort. Service was friendly and we were able to sit for as long as we wanted.
