The location is right in the city so close to everything.it is an original Croation home lovely stone walls and original features. The view from the top floor over the city of Dubrovnik is stunning and you can see the ocean in the distance. We watched a magnificent lightening storm over the sea our first morning. One night we sat and listened to the Dubrovnik Symphomy Orchestra and a singer from our kitchen. The acoustics in the city are perfect it was like we were sitting in the front row.
You can also listen to the cities church bells.
The facilities are basic and quirky.
There are 34 narrow steep stairs from the kitchen at the top to the bathroom one the bottom. Do not stay here unless you are fit and stable on your feet.
The washing machine did not work. (No power light came on when plugged in).
Booking agent states all facilities included in the description are working. This was not the case and reviews are for travellers but also for the owners/agents to fix issues. There was only linen provided for one bed. We had to request more. Again booking agent states linen provided for all beds, I write true and correct reviews I do not make things up. We also bought and replaced a light bulb in the dark narrow staircase and left a note and the empty bulb box explaining the issues we had during our stay so they could be attended to prior to the next lot of guests arriving and being Inconvenienced. Just be aware being inside the city in a traditional house might not be what you are used to. Also there is a nightclub in the next alley that fires up around 11pm and goes for hours so don't expect any sleep.
