We spend there again 2 Nights and it was good again there. It is a well managed Hotel und the Service was always very customerorientated. Very easy to find, due it is directly at one of the Main streets. Their Breakfast is nice decorated and the Selection of Food and Drink is sufficient.

it was already our second stay there. located a bit out of the citycenter, but very good bus connection (just in front of hotel). or a 20 minute walk away. most of travellers have been businesstravellers, but also lot of tourists have been there. it does have a good middle class standard with a comfortable interiour. breakfast was average, coffee good and there was a shopping mall - with many restaurants - just 5 minute away from it.

I agree with another traveler..there is NOTHING 5 star about this hotel! An Intercontinental Hotel with numerous pillows and soft bedding is what comes to my mind FIRST when I think of an Intercontinental Hotel AND 5 Star...and then there are the wonderful meals and service you get in an Intercon 5 STAR that these people are absolutely clueless to! Let's start with the room. The mattress was like sleeping on a box spring with an old pillow that once I removed the cover, it was stained with yellow bodily fluid stains! GROSS! The television was a waste...no channels available at all. Showers are difficult to figure out but it was not that big of a deal. The bathrooms are roomy however ALL of them have a small step up to clear your footing or you'll break a toe like I did. THEN for a door stop in these bathrooms, they ALL have these knobs perfectly hidden by the mat you use to exit the shower and once again, tripping or sustaining a physical injury is just waiting to happen. The A/C did in fact work well, thus my giving it a slightly higher rating than a Motel 6 in America but 5 STARS THIS IS NOT! Furthermore, this hotel served the worst breakfast yet on this trip. Scrambled eggs were curled and runny, a left over cantaloupe sliced VERY thinly into 5 slices was the extent of fresh fruit...day old bread with no toaster and a LINE with multiple guests and staff shrugging them off when they attempted to make self-serve coffee via a knock-off Kurig coffeemaker. For each cup of coffee one must run the system at least 4 times. Luckily we checked out after that experience and made our way to the port city of Trogir for an incredible meal along the sea to make up for breakfast. The Intercontinental Hotel offers beautiful breakfast options with perfectly cooked eggs to order. I would NOT be comparing these two hotels right now had the Atrium not tried to pass themselves off as an establishment EQUAL to a REAL 5 Star Hotel Chain!

This pleasant hotel is a refreshing modern breeze in the lovely old worldness of Split. The staff were gracious and accommodating with all requests. It is an easy venue to visit town on foot or keep a car in the deck for excursions. I found it a good deal overall.

We have booked a New Year's stay at the Atrium Hotel. Hotel is easy to be found on the Domovinskog rata street, has its underground parking (100 kuna/night) and spa (which we had no occasion to try).
Hotel states it's a 5* one, but, honestly, I have stayed in better 4* hotels. From this my "average rating". Under no circumstances the hotel is bad, though, there are some flaws that should be taken care of.

The room is nice and spacious and contains everything you could need during your stay - safe, bathrobe, slippers (even though small enough for girls only). Bathroom is also huge with 2 sinks. Airconditioning is absolutely silent and effective. Staff is really nice, although there is a bit of a language barrier (they are not "perfect" in English), but always willing to help. Overall, hotel is modern and very good looking.

Now to the cons of our stay at the hotel:
First and the biggest issue to mention is breakfast! Breakfast is absolutely poor to any standards of 3* hotels and up I have ever been to, only few choices available with varying quality, coffee is something to avoid (rather order an espresso) and juice is mostly for those who like sweet thing in their glass, no matter what is inside. If you are lucky you can get some cold eggs, if not you have to stick with artificial sausages. You have bread, yoghurt, some fruit, around 4 kinds of salami (1 of them of a good taste), some cheese, butter, jams, some sweets and basically you are done. During our 2 night stay I was not able to understand why they need so many tables for it if it could easily fit on 1 small...
Also there is just one person taking care of the whole breakfast, so don't be surprised, if you come not as the first one and you will have no clean place to sit, as there will be plates & other "mess" from previous guests.

Location:
I can hardly understand, why would anyone state that this hotel is in the center...as it is simply not. It's a 15-minute walk to get to the place where the real centre starts (which is, btw, absolutely amazing) not through a beautiful neighbourhood (not bad, either). If you don't mind to take this walk (and back), than the position should not bother you.

There are some other things I feel like to mention:
There is a step from the room to the bathroom - I have not been able to understand what was its purpose...if there is a underfloor heating, it was not working. Also the radiator in the bathroom (the one on which you put towels to dry them) was not working (or we have not understood how to make it work). Having 2 sinks in the bathroom it is very handy, but...when you fully open the door (90 degree), there is a smal stopper on the floor which makes you not open the door more than 90 degrees - useless to mention that the 2nd sink is located right behind the door, so if you enter the bathroom, the door creates some kind of a barrier in accessing the 2nd sink...something that does not create any serious problems, but I just can't understand what was meant by it... To complete the bathroom, there is also a strange lighting system - there are 2 lights in the bathroom, one for toilet and bathtub, one for 2 sinks. You turn on the toilet light on outside of the room when you enter, however the sink light (which is more often used) has to be switched on from inside the bathroom, on the wall between bathtub and sinks - again a small thing, but something that makes absolutely no sense.
Overall, we were not able to turn on or off some of the lights in the room (the entrance one and the one next to the tv in the corner). Checkout is at 12:00 so if you will not make it, the lights will go off and you will not be able to turn them on - just bear this in mind.

Web page:
I'm probably a bit too picky, but another small thing I did not like was the hotel's web page. In the 21st century it is for me too weak, with very few information about the hotel (3 pictures overall), better explanation how to get there and where is it on the Domovinskog rata (as google maps had problem to locate it, so my GPS with newest maps).

All the other things I have not mentioned (sleep quality, services,...) were simply great!

The hotel was not overpriced, so I would probably think again if to stay or not, but in my opinion it does not stand up to a 5* one.

This 5 star hotel is located in the heart of town - 15-minute walk from the famous Diocletian's Palace. There is a supermarket opposite and a shopping mall behind the hotel. So it is very convenient for the guests!

The reception and waiting area was big. The hotel staff was friendly and informative.

We were assigned a big and clean twin room. The bed was clean and comfortable. There was a huge closet by the door way and a coat rack next to the closet. We love the full size mirror opposite one of the single bed. Next to the mirror were the flat screen TV and a mini bar underneath. We had a dressing table, coffee table and chairs in the room.

The bath room was clean with enough amenities. They also provide slippers (which I love) and the bath robes. The two sinks in the bathroom was my other favorite, this mean I do not have to fight with my partner. There was a bathtub/ shower in the bathroom too.

Although there was a spa and wellness center but we did not have enough time to enjoy it. It was close by the time we got back to the hotel after our tour.

What we really love was the complementary high speed Wi-Fi Internet in our room!
