Owner description: To experience and enjoy Split entirely, it wouldn't be absolute and perfect without sailing to the neighboring islands and experiencing its unique natural beauties. We offer you an unforgettable day at our new mega catamaran Summer Blues, and above all, we have prepared enough food and cold drinks so your soul and our blues can be tied forever.Summer Blues excursion includes: attractive catamaran ride to the neighboring islands of Brac and Solta, swimming in the isolated bays and lagoons with clear blue sea, music entertainment together with the animation on board, good food and drinks will complete this excursion into unforgettable experience and memory of Croatia.

With so much history to take in, it can be overwhelming! It's very attractive with such a mix of renaissance/baroque and Roman architecture and narrow winding streets with squares of bars, cafes and shops dotted about, what is not to like?

Old Split is a lovely place to wander, with surprises round every corner. Vari Velos is well worth some time too - looks like the "real" Split.

I liked the layers and layers of history; with many of those layers still in everyday use. The cathedral/mausoleum, the temple of Jupiter, and the palace cellars are the key things to see. The views form the bell tower are terrific. Some corners of the palace are evidently still in use as homes, and it was so interesting to see so much life ongoing, as it has for centuries, in such a signifcant historical site.

It`s well worth exploring this fine old city, with it`s interesting history. Also visit the seafront area.

The old town has excellent restaurants and bars, and is a great walking area. Every night, weather permitting, there was live, traditional music on the peristil (the square next to the temple). The best viewing/listening was from seats on the stairs surrounding the peristil, which had cushions provided by the adjoining bar. To sit there required the purchase of at least one drink, but it was worth it.
