Monday night in Split and we wanted to dine close to where we were staying. This restaurant looked like it would fit the bill and we weren't disappointed. We found it easily, head for the north-eastern corner of the old town and you can't go wrong, especially if you have read other reviews! The starter signature prosciutto was very generous and came garnished with fresh walnuts and rock melon and some green and black olives. Off to a great start! He had the John Dory main (also generous and served on a potato) and I had 'white fish' which was a whole smallish fish, superbly seasoned. His mixed salad was big enough for two to share, and my chard with potatoes (recommended by our waitress as being the traditional accompaniment to the fish) was very tasty. Although the desserts looked tempting we couldn't fit another morsel. Our waitress was very friendly and helped us by recommending dishes which transpired to be perfect. Definitely 5 out of 5
