When we inquired on where to go for a nice Croation meal, our guide actually recommended another restaurant near by. Upon getting to the Pjaka, that restaurant had no tables for our party of 6, so we disappointedly went to the nearby Cafe Bar Pjaka. Our disappointment truly disappeared upon receiving our meal. Service was average and the server helpful and pleasant. We weren't terribly hungry, so our group ordered a meat plate for 2 and 2 orders of the fried calamari. I hope to post a couple pics soon. Both the meat platter and calamari were delicious and really hit the spot (along with the half liter beers of course). We ate our meal in the square under the restaurant's canopies and enjoyed the outstanding view of this 1700 year old city and this square on a hot and sunny afternoon. If you like grilled meats and fresh seafood, eat here, we recommend it. If you want pizza, feel free to eat elsewhere, it's literally offered everywhere.
