While enjoying a week at the Meridien hotel we decided to eat at this restaurant. What a mistake ! They were not busy, but managed to achieve the slowest, apathetic service we have ever had the misfortune to receive. They were dancing attendance on a table of 6 and almost ignored anyone else who had the misfortune to be sitting in their restaurant. We were served a drink and then waited and waited for a menu, we had to call someone to bring it. We ordered and waited a very long time for it to come. It really wasn't worth waiting for. After the main course we waited for well over 40 minutes for someone to clear our plates and offer us desserts. Again we had to call them, as they were still dancing attendance on the favoured 6 people. While we were eating, they decided this was a good time to unload a delivery from a vehicle and right past our table - 10.15 p.m. The waiters were hauling plastic sacks past us, which was really annoying, as if we were invisible or totally unimportant. However, this turned out to be pretty amusing when one of them dropped a sack and the contents spilled onto the floor - a pile of frozen shrink wrapped fish - this is a restaurant that brags about it's freshly caught fish !!! Obviously freshly caught from the freezer !
