This place requires a full pay in advance. The room was a half basement and dark. I am not recommend this place for a traveler. The one of twin beds is not comfortable and make a noise when you turns or sit up. I am on the road more than month and this is the worst room I ever had. The price is same as a 4 star hotel in a Dubrovnik and room is worse than a 25 euro room and breakfast in Montenegro coast. I will not go near the place where they require full advance pay.

Room Tip: I asked a room with windows, a worker said it is a presidential room and cost more.

A staff member from the apartments came to collect us from the airport (which cost €40). We were then met by an extremely friendly and helpful receptionist who brought us to our room which was a decent size, spotlessly clean and modern with aircon and a kitchenette.

I would recomend getting a taxi to the apartments if you have luggage as the climb from the port is a little steep. However good location and a pleasant 10 min stroll to the old town.

Would definitely stay again!

I am basing my review purely on the price we paid which was 105 Euros a night excluding breakfast. If it were cheaper i would rate this differently. To be honest I think this is steep for what you get.

The room is clean but it is essentially a room within a building. There is an extremely friendly and attentive lady who greets you at the room on arrival. However, this is by no means a hotel. There is no reception at the building itself but is down the road. It is located in a quieter part of town yet within a 10 minute walk of the centre. The immediate surroundings are residential and slightly rough around the edges. Again, not a problem if it weren't for the price. They do have good air con, wifi that works, towels, hair dryer and a kitchenette. However, for essentially a self catering apartment I would have expected to pay less.

I stayed at these apartments with my boyfriend for 2 nights during a short stop-over in Split. We chose these apartments as they looked to be great value and close to the old town. The location of the apartments is very good - there is a steep climb upsteps to reach them, but they are only about a 10 min walk from the old town.
The downside was the room we were alloacted - we had room number 1 - it was a very small double room in the basement with a very tiny kitchen. It did not look like any of the pictures on the internet. As we had not paid that much for the room we hadn't expected much, but we were very disappointed. On the plus side, it was spotlessly clean and modern, and the receptionist who greeted us could not have been nicer. We were only staying for 2 nights and spent very little time in the room.
The other apartments look to be much nicer and so if you do stay here, I would request a larger apartment.

Room Tip: Avoid room number 1 in the basement

Our family of 3 stayed here for a week using it as the base for a thorough investigation of Split (spouse is an ancient historian who specializes in ancient Rome.) The apartment is centrally located-but up the hill a bit if mobility is an issue. The renovated apartment was large enough for 3 and had a well appointed bathroom. It was cleaned daily by a professional who was kind enough to bring us fresh cherries one day! The owner was also attentive, checking in with us almost daily to make sure we were comfortable, he even brought us a DVD of Split. We were close to DP, the port, bus/train station, Riva, Bacvice, Marjan forest, zoo, all great family friendly activities. The staff was very helpful getting us oriented to the city.

Room Tip: easy walk from the bus station if you follow the Riva.Taxi driver had no idea as it is in the pedest...

We booked this last minute, looking for a place in a good location with parking and wi-fi. It is in a great location as long as you can walk there up hill from the town. It is a short, pleasant walk of about 5 to 10 minutes. Walking up from the apartment takes you to a look off with a wonderful view. On the street into town are a grocery store and a laundromat.

The parking is on the street which is very narrow and ends with a staircase street down towards town. We could not turn our car around but one of the very pleasant staff backed it up the street the morning we left.

The room is fine, but if this bothers you, you should know the shower has a glass window onto the bedroom/kitchenette.
