We stayed at Judita Palace Hotel in October 2018.

We booked a superior double room with view to the old town via booking.com for the price of about 200 Euro including breakfast. The 30 square metre room was allocated on the first floor in the annexe and had a nice view to the old town. It was elegantly furnished and the parquet floor, timber ceilings and Renaissance-era walls created a special atmosphere. We felt comfortable from the very beginning. The room itself had 3 large windows, 2 of them had a view to the square “Narodni trg” and one window had a view onto Svete Marije Street.

Although the location involved quite a loud atmosphere day and night we appreciated being in the middle of Split`s old town. Diocletian`s palace is only two minutes walking and the most atmospheric cafes and restaurants are just around the corner.

Breakfast was served from 7-10 am in the directly adjacent main building and offered a nice variety and good quality -nevertheless, a small fan against the tiny flies around the breakfast buffet would have been fine. WIFI signal was strong and the staff was ready to help, however we found the concierge a bit intrusive.

Overall we recommend staying here.

Havala ti palace Juditha . If I ever come back I would stay again . Great breakfast and staff is so helpful . Historic split is very very tight . They will come get you in s golf cart ! Beautiful rooms . Try to get a room with view of plaza . Even if it’s not part of the main hotel .

The Palace Judita is superbly located in the old city of Split. There couldn't be a better base for walking around the old city and the harbor.

The staff is extraordinarily warm and welcoming, with flawless English, and will work to address every request and detail.

The rooms are beautiful, quieter than you'd expect for the city center and very comfortable. The bathrooms are a little dated, however, and not easy for anyone with mobility issues. Some grab bars for entering the tub/shower and a less slippery surface would help.

It's also good to know that there is a long flight of stairs for entering/exiting the lobby. This would not be friendly to anyone who has a hard time with stairs.

The hotel serves a light breakfast. There is a cafe down on the square where you can get coffee or drinks (open to the public) but no full restaurant. However, there are dinner options all around in the old city.

All in all the hotel is a true Old World experience and memorable in ways that not all hotels are.

Our favorite hotel experience in many years. This absolutely gorgeous hotel in the center of Split Old town is staffed by a wonderful staff. Cannot say enough nice things about Andrea, Maria or Vladen. From the moment they met our car out in the Riva, to the time they took us to the ferry, we were pampered.

Incredible soundproof windows guaranteed a quiet night sleep.

Rooms are exquisitely appointed. Location is unbeatable. People watching from the café outside the hotel is excellent.

A stay at this hotel will not disappoint.

After review all the TripAdvisor reviews for hotels we decided on this establishment. From the time we were meet at the bus station till the time we left in the pope mobile we had a wonderfull stay.

The staff were excellent, breakfast was wonderfull (best selection of eggs and cooked to perfection. The room was excellent well maintained and a good size. Also the laundry service was timely and no lost item. After reading one of the reviews we were wondering where was the bottle of wine.

There is only one thing that need to be considered by the hotel management is smoking in the court yard of the hotel. Smoking is an issue throughout Croatia, however it would be nice not to encounter people’s smoke the first thing you encounter going across the the staircase leading to the reception and breakfast area. Otherwise it is an excellent place to stay in Split.
