I've been fortunate enough to travel all over the world, but I'd never visited Croatia until March. Because of a charity auction where my sisters and I purchased a weeks stay on Hvar, we found ourselves flying into Split. Having no personal references as to where to stay, we took to the internet. I made reservations at five different places before finding Palace Judita, and I am so thankful for our good fortune. Not only were the accommodations adorable and comfortable, in a perfect location, our party of five felt was thrilled. Marija was an absolute doll from communicating about the reservation, to getting us settled in, helping us navigate to the ferry and recommending excellent restaurants. We stayed one night before going to Hvar and then one night when we returned before catching our flight home, and all of the help she and her colleague, also Marija, gave us went well beyond the call of duty. They were like having our personal concierge team. The ultimate was when Marija stayed overnight at the hotel to go and pick our rental car up from the parking lot at 5:30 AM so that we wouldn't get lost, and could get to the airport for our early morning flight. I promise, you won't be disappointed if you choose Palace Judita. Even without the benefits of the personal service, the $ value was amazing.

Room Tip: There were 5 rooms at the time...2 or 3 more were being added. I believe we stayed in 3 and 4. The one with the stone walls (4 I think) did not get good Wi-fi service.

Our first visit to Croatia and it will not be our last. The Judita Palace is in a perfect location, a 5 star plus hotel, the owner and Marija were also 5 star.
We would not hesitate to stay there again

Perhaps the best value for the money that I have ever experienced in a hotel. A wonderfully renovated hotel in the very heart of old town split. The location and the quality of the rooms don't get better for such a reasonable price. All of that is topped by an exteremely friendly and helpful owner/staff.

Room Tip: I had a wonderful room with a balcony out on to the central square in Split. Not only had the room be well renovated, but the quality of the furnishings were top notch

We stayed for 4 nights in Split, and were lucky enough to stumble upon Palace Judita.

Brand new, it is amazingly located in Split, within walking distance of everything while still being a haven of peace in this busy city. The rooms are cosy, beautifully furnished, and the

But the most amazing feature of Palace Judita is its people. Feeling welcome from the moment we arrived, the whole staff goes out of its way to make sure your stay is perfect. Special thanks to Marija, who got us great tickets to a fullhouse football game between Split and archrival Zagreb Dinamo, and to the whole team who surprised us with champagne and gifts for my birthday!

All in all, a hidden gem that will shortly become a must-go destination in Split!
