Description: Come and experience our small family owned restaurant that father, mother and son run. As we are based on the fresh seafood our offer changes daily depending on what our nearby fish market has to offer. Try our cozy homelike atmosphere, fresh seafood and our wines and we will put a smile on your face.

The place was recommended to us by the hosts where we were staying as serving good Dalmatian food, it was a characterful place down a side street and for us the road was quiet . Service was good with fresh bread and iced water brought to the table The waiter recommended an inexpensive red and brought a sample for us to try before deciding. Calamari was good , steak ok but scampi portions for a main course were small so we were a bit disappointed: side salad and chips were all good. We are only in Split for one night so I couldn’t compare it to anywhere else

First and very important: We had dinner with excellent fresh fish, well prepared. The waiter very quickly presented the fish from today on a plate including big prawns. I asked specifically about the price and was told it was by the kilo 450 kn. I remarked that a kilo of fish was quite a lot for 2 persons, but the waiter said that was no problem with white fish. We accepted and
were recommended to start with big prawns with sauce, and assumed this to be part of the kilo offering - as no price was mentioned.
The bill included the prawn serving as 230 kn on top of the 450 kn, which surprised us.
We think the pricing should have been made clearer to us, by pointing out the starter in the menu.

The service was good and seafood and fish probably the best we ate during our Holiday in Split. Especially the scampis for starter were to die for! The fish and seafood was fresh and caught the same day and tasted fresh and delicious.

Would definitely visit this place again.

It lived up to its expectations. Quality food and wine though expensive. Clearly the Bass was not as heavy as we were charged

We booked this restaurant earlier in the day as it always appeared to be full. It is a lovely street side taverna opposite another restaurant. Lots of people watching opportunities as it is on the way up to Marjam Hill!

We shared a fish pate which was the nicest we had tried by far! We then had the fish platter for 2 which came with grilled vegetables.

We really enjoyed this meal and would definitely recommend for fresh fish!
