A funky hotel that used to be a department store right in the centre of Split. An easy walk to everywhere. Minimalist industrial design, very clean and great friendly staff. It also has a restaurant and a bar. The next door seafood restaurant is also excellent. A great place to stay in Split.

The rooms here were very small, but you did have a curtain across your bed for privacy which is good.

The hostel is located directly above a restaurant and bar so the hostel itself lacks any atmosphere as it had no common area/bar and the prices at the restaurant are too expensive if you're travelling!

The location was very central, right in the middle of old town split, you couldn't get much closer.

The hostel was fairly priced, but I'd say perhaps slightly overpriced, especially with the size of the rooms!

This hostel is in the heart of Split (note that since it's in the heart of Split, there's no vehicle access). However my taxi driver dropped me as close as possible, which only required about a 3 minute walk with my luggage to the hostel. The rooms are very cool, modern and quirky. The mattress and bedding was probably the comfiest I've slept in at a hostel. Only downside of the beds, was that I slept in a top bunk and access is via a ladder with steps cut out of the wooden wall/bed frame which was hard on your feet and difficult to climb for a shorter person. The hotel restaurant was quite good, just a bit pricey. The hostel could benefit from additional facilities such as a common area, laundry, kitchenette, etc. But nonetheless, still a great hostel and if I were to visit Split again, I'd be likely to stay here again due to the location, cleanliness and safety.

This hostel is definitely not my type of hostel, but I guess it provides a bit of variety.
The rooms are very strange, with everything hidden in holes in the wall. I wasn't a fan.
I stayed in a room of 6 and was lucky enough to get a bottom bunk - the people on top bunks had it a lot worse than me with a difficult climb up to the top bunks and impossibly high lockers (above head height for some people).
The lockers were not at all secure. Although they give you a code to open them, you can in fact just turn the lock around by hand to open the door.
The bathroom facilities are okay and were kept relatively clean, although with the sink being in the bedroom, opposite someones bed, it was quite annoying and disruptive to people to clean your teeth at night with a glaring white light on.
There are curtains for each bed and although they are thin, they do provide a bit of privacy, not that you really need it as the rooms don't provide any space for socialising with your room mates.
Good thing is that you have an individual charging point in your bunk and a personal light for it.
The rooms are very bright and can get very hot at night as well.
The staff in the restaurant below were quite rude and dislike people who are staying in the hostel hanging out in the bar area or even outside, if you are not eating/drinking. I get that they want space for their customers, but when there is no social space for the hostel guests, this is quite disappointing.
The location is good as you are in the middle of the old town and very close to Diocletians Palace and The Riva.

Room tip: Request a bottom bunk if you can

The design of the bunk beds is awful. The top bed is impossible to get in and pretty unsafe (no handrails/barriers) unless you're a giant. The staff seem completely disorganised, allocating beds to more than one person, people having to check in and out and back in again. It's noisy, the bathrooms are small and there's nowhere to get changed in privacy if you're sharing a mixed dorm. Hands down the worst hostel I've ever stayed in.

Room tip: Ask for a bottom bunk bed.
