The hostel is centrally located. Main bus station and ferry are within 15-20 minutes walk. Price is reasonable but service is not that great. The lock of my room is broken for 2 days and still no one is coming to repair it. Staff attitude is just average. Air circulation in the room is poor, particularly in the shower. There are only me and another guest in the room so it is still bearable. You can imagine how hot it is if it is full house (8 guests). Also no laundry service is provided by the hotel.

We stayed 2 nights in a double with private bathroom. Upon arrival, the receptionist offered us a 'premium' room for the price of a standard. stairs, escalator and lift lead you to your room. The latest was spacious, clean, bathed with light (in the morning some ray of light filter through the blind). Varius options for breakfast served with smiles. wifi is available

The only 'improvement' i could think of is the sounds insulation of the floor (you can hear someone walking with hills... no big deal for us though)

Let's start by saying it is a hostel, not a hotel. Although we had requested a double room, we wound up in a room for 6 people, sharing with 3 20-somethings from Australia. However, the beds are clever, each in its own little curtained cubicle complete with lights, wi-fi, and equipment charger outlets. Each room has its own shower/sink/toilet, so there were 5 of us sharing. There is a comfortable outdoor dining area, a downstairs bar, a fun elevator, great graphics throughout the place, and overall much more modern and private than most hostels we've been to. It is not far off the Riva, but no one seems to know where it is, so from the bus/boat terminal walk to one block short of the end of the broad walkway & take a right. Within 5 minutes & 2 turns you'll be there.

Arrived in a very hot Split and found the hostel without any problems. it is located close to the Riva and is set in a secluded square. This is a hostel but with prices approaching that of a hotel if you require a private room. We paid 99 euros for a double room which by hostel standards anywhere is very pricey. The room was very small with just enough room to manouvre around the bed. It was sparse to say the least and had a small bathroom with a shower that leaked into the main bedroom under the bathroom door when you used it. Air conditioning was on full in the room but was not adjustable so by late night, the white minimalist decor made it look and feel a little like a fridge. Breakfast the next morning was forgettable and sevice was curt. The sleekness of the place was spoilt by boxes and cleaning equipment being left on view. We waited for 15 minutes to check out and again received less than friendly service. We then moved on to the Hotel Luxe a short distance away which for an extra 30 euros a night gave amazing value for money in luxurious surroundings.

My friends and I stayed for 2 nights in August. We arrived early and were told we couldn't gain access to the rooms till 2pm, which was completely understandable, however they didn't finish cleaning the rooms till 4pm. On appearance the rooms seemed very hip and designer, with a double bed on the floor, and a bed higher up, in a loft like setup. However, this wasn't very functional. As the previous writer stated, the people in the bed higher up were hot, so the aircon had to be left on, but this was freezing for those on the ground floor. More importantly due to the badly designed nature of the bathroom, it would always flood after a shower, this water also being unavoidably carried through the rest of the room. Even though the room adequately slept 4 people, it barely had enough space to fit the luggage of 4. The one positive thing was the fantastic view.

A very quirky hostel in a super location in Split. Everything is neon yellow and super clean. Lovely big bar area and outdoor seating. Serves food and drinks all day long and has free wifi in all areas including the dorms. As cool as the hostel looks, for actually staying in, it was not the best that I stayed in in Croatia during my solo backpacking tour. Being a lone traveler it would have been nice firstly to have been put in a dorm beside others who might actually speak some English. I love meeting new people and will chat to anyone, but my two nights here were pretty much lost in translation beside 5 girls from Japan who were traveling together and never once spoke to me, shame really. It was also a tad annoying when they took showers at 3am and 5am since the shower was pretty much right in the room beside the cabin beds!!! Loud and not really in keeping with usual hostel etiquette. Also annoying was that when one light went on at 3am, so did all the lights, and since everything was neon yellow, it was rather bright to say the least. I had an upper cabin which took some amount of mastering to firstly get into and then even more challenging to get out of - without disturbing the girl below with my foot through the hole by her head!! Since I had an upper cabin, I also had a corresponding upper locker which would have been big enough for my bag had it been lower down and not higher than head height making it impossible to put anything heavy in - I'm not strong enough to lift 20kg above my head whilst standing on a chair!!! I got locked out my dorm one night and had to visit the bar three times before they finally gave up trying to reset my card and they gave me a spare door key instead. It was also quite stuffy in the dorm which I was surprised about as I had read other reviews about the AC being too strong. Definitely not the case here - I asked at the bar to turn the AC up and the girl did so, but told me that if anyone said it was too cold she'd have to put it off again. I thought this was crazy since it was 34degrees Celsius outside!! On the whole I would recommend the hostel if you can book out a dorm amongst a group of friends. Great bar, clean and decent food. Great location near the Riva.

Room Tip: Choose a lower level bunk!
